About this house rental
Nestled in Mooresville, this lovely house for $399 per night is a great choice for your next break. Our gorgeous lake home had been completely renovated inside with a modern chic look. It has 3 bedrooms with 2 bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs with 1 full bathroom down and sleeps 6. The master bedroom upstairs has a magnificent view. It overlooks the water with a small balcony where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or latte while sitting on bistro chairs It has sliding glass doors so you can get a full view of the lake while relaxing on your new Tempurpedic King mattress. Enjoy the sun coming up every morning. Views day and night are my favorite, but I really enjoy at night when you shut off all the lights and fall asleep to the view. The water is lit up from houses across the lake that are reflecting on the water. Enjoy the sounds of nature with geese, ducks and the beautiful sounds of a mockingbird. There is another large bedroom upstairs and downstairs each with a queen bed. Downstairs is quite charming. It has a sofa and loveseat with a soft furry rug which may spoil you. Enjoy cooking in a new kitchen with exotic granite and soft lighting with a new refrigerator, oven, dishwasher and microwave and a dining room table to accommodate 6. Enjoy the beautiful crystal chandelier centerpiece lighting as a focal point while dining. The kitchen has everything and is fully stocked including a coffeemaker, toaster and vitamix blender for frozen drinks or smoothies. Outside is so much fun! Sit under an umbrella on the deck while enjoying dinner and a glass of wine with seating for 6 or enjoy sitting in 1 of 2 rocking chairs. Enjoy cooking on a large grill with a rotisserie and sear burner while watching the boats go by. If you want to get a little active, there is a grassy area to play corn hole or bocce ball or go kayaking or just lounge in the lounge chairs while basking in the sun. Another favorite spot is sitting under the shady oak trees around the firepit and watching the view which is spectacular and so entertaining. Enjoy the warm water coming of the lake or the ambiance of a fire with gorgeous orange, pink or blue sky's or relax in the hammock and read a book. Enjoy the speed boats and big cabin cruisers going by. There is so much entertainment you will not get bored. Enjoy a long dock where you can lay in the sun or jump in the water and float or play water sports or walk in from the beach. All of these spots are my favorite, but my absolute favorite is sitting on the dock at 6 am and watching the sun come up, the fish jumping, the geese flying and fog coming off the water. At night I love to sit there at dusk, as the sun goes down behind you and ignites the water with so many colors or the moon lighting up the water. The houses across the way reflects on the water and lit up neon blue boats will pass in the dark and it is truly magnificent! At times you can see an airplane land on the water. And July 4th! WOW! There is so much to do. Inland Marina is next door where you can launch your boat and rent jet skis or take a quiet stroll around the neighborhood loop. Sites to see are just a short drive away. Visit Lazy 5 Ranch with exotic animals and wagon rides just 28 minutes away. Queens landing is close where there is a amphitheater, mini golf and dinner cruises. Nascar, Carowinds Amusement Park and Whitewater Rafting Center which has festivals, rock climbing, all within an hour. Mallard Head Country Club is around the corner along with shopping in Mooresville and Davidson or have breakfast at the famous Toast. Visit great brewery's and downtown Mooresville. This is such a lovely rental and vacation experience. The property was spotless and perfectly updated and decorated. It felt really nice, but low fuss. Perfect lake house feel with all the amenities you’d need! We had a perfect stay with the best space for my toddler to play, my father to relax, and my husband and I to enjoy time with our family. There’s great views from inside, the porch, and the yard. The house is nearby the bait shop, grocery store, and great options for local delivery so you can skip the fuss of cooking dinners if you want. Management was super kind, supportive, and responsive. We will definitely be back!

I highly recommend staying here. It is a beautiful spot on the lake. The home is up to date and well kept. It was perfect for a family of 5 (with three children under 3). Very close to groceries and downtown Mooresville. We are definitely open to staying there again.

This was the perfect location and size for my husband and I and our adult son and his girlfriend. The outdoor areas were beautiful, the dock was well done, and I'm sure we would have some amazing lake days if not for the terrible weather over Memorial weekend! My family rented this property over our spring break so we can visit my daughter enrolled in Davidson. I cannot say enough about the house and our host.
First of all the property is beautiful we loved sitting out on the deck we loved sitting out on the dock, watching the sun come up, and the kids were fishing and kayaking. It was a nice little retreat. The dock was brand new absolutely gorgeous. If you rented a boat, it would be the perfect place to drive up to.
Inside was wonderful two bedrooms upstairs. The king size bedroom upstairs has a door that overlooks the lake so you could see the sunrise in the morning. The other room is very cute and cozy. I think there was either a queen or a full bed in there.
Downstairs the decor was just adorable beautiful dining room table that was perfect for us to host Easter brunch. The furniture was all very comfortable very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to cook meals Again can't say enough everything about it was perfect for us They were even little Easter bunnies on the table and on the counter.
The location was quiet very peaceful. I look forward to returning.

Stayed here for college football bowl game and NYE…convenient to Charlotte but removed from the city…peaceful and calm, beautiful lake views, super comfy house, all the amenities, fantastic host…hope to stay here again in the summer!!

1st Christmas in 60 years without my mom or dad.
My sweet husband thought it a good idea to get away for Christmas. Our children could not be with us until January for Christmas.
I started looking and found the lake front house I wanted. It was no doubt the best experience I have had in 15 years of booking on VRBO. The host was the best ever in communication and made us feel right at home. The house was decorated with lights and a tree, very festive, such a welcoming feeling. The house is so nice and comfortable and located close to stores and restaurants. I highly recommend this vacation spot and will look forward to visiting again.
Next time to fish some. This time it was 18 degrees. But we needed the time to relax.

The Beckers exemplify the most Gracious Host & Hostess with The Most & Mostest! Our newly wed daughter & son-in-law recently moved to Charlotte, NC., last July. We couldn’t bear celebrating Thanksgiving week without them. So, we packed up & picked up my 82 1/2 years young, SWEET MÜTTER, scooped up our son in Cincinnati, and continued on to Lake Norman.
Ann Marie was so sweet to stop over (just before our eta) the lights were all on (both inside & outside) to make our arrival Extra welcoming! It was around 10pm (and very, NOVEMBER Dark) when we finally arrived. We walked in, so tired, but immediately fell in love with this adorable cottage and held our own, pre-bedtime, “MUST SEE TOUR”❣️Ann Marie & Paul made so many updates which came together to create the most charming vibe. It’s modern, cozy, well lit, with amazing light fixtures, and the furniture was both, stylish and comfortable! Most excellent use of the entire house was made & not 1” was wasted/without purpose. There was plenty of space to hold all the comforts of this home away from home. It would soon prove to be roomy enough to make all 6 of us, SO COMFORTABLE and truly enjoy this extra special family time. My Mütter is almost (a young) 83, my husband & I are in our early 50s (and happily retired), and our children are in their mid-twenties. Our son was able to work from the cottage on Tuesday & Wednesday. G’ma slept in the main floor bedroom (easy access to the bathroom). My husband and I were upstairs across the hall from our son. ALL 3 bedrooms were spacious and very generously appointed with top of the line, memory foam mattresses & nice quality linens. Nothing was forgotten to make the rooms as comfortable & lux as possible. After a refreshing sleep, we excitedly woke up to get our FIRST VIEW OF LAKE NORMAN…it did not disappoint! Sitting in the sun, on the dock was another treat as we watched and waved, “Bon Voyage” to each boat as they took off from the nearby marina. Our morning walks were peaceful! We grocery shopped nearby. morning coffee & lunches on we’re on the beautiful deck. This year’s non-traditional Thanksgiving Dinner was grilled outside! On most other nights, we dined out by our daughter’s home in Birkdale Village. We shopped & watched ice skaters. Back at the cottage, were ALL so comfortable as there was plenty of room, for the 6 of us to relax. An abundance of family time is why we ventured south to make more memories for a lifetime. This property was everything we needed for our first family vacation in 5 years. We chose the location for easy access to the Renaissance festival. The lake was so beautiful with the autumn trees, and we were able to rent a boat easily (from one of the companies recommended by Ann Marie) to explore Lake Norman. We spent an entire day just enjoying the house and property before going for a delicious dinner down the road at Havana 33. There is only one bathroom in the house which was a bit tricky, but manageable because we are family. Beds are super comfortable with lots of pillows to choose from. We would definitely come back. I relied heavily on previous reviews and all the good words said were 100% correct. This property is a spectacular spiritual oasis. The lake was quiet and serene. I spent most of my time on the beautiful dock - sunrises are spectacular here. If I had any needs or questions Ann Marie was only a text away. The house is fully equipped, more so than any rental I have ever visited. Buy your own firewood at a local store or go 9 miles down the lake, there is a fantastic wood store that sells exotics and anything you can think of. LOL I did not know I was coming to North Carolina to get excited by a place that sold wood. But there it is.
Just a spectacular rental, don’t hesitate. Book it right away.

Stayed while visiting Davidson College, which is about a 15 minute drive. Easy to get to the town of Davidson

GREAT lake house
This house is just the right size for our ladies trip! The location is convenient to anything you might need, the house is adorable and right on the water. We had dinner every night out on the porch, and spent the majority of the weekend enjoying the dock and floating around in the lake. We will be back!

We loved our stay in this beautiful home and Anne Marie was the most wonderful host. We had everything that we needed and the house was super clean. We rented a boat and we were able to keep it with us on the amazing dock. Floating, tubing, fishing, and beautiful sunsets everyday! We will definitely come back!
