Savvy Pelican is located at beautiful Beachside. A family-friendly four-bedroom townhome conveniently located on 11th Street. Savvy Pelican sits near the saltwater pool, which is heated during the winter months and is beautifully decorated with beach-inspired décor. If you are looking for a great location central to all that Port Aransas has to offer, look no further. Park your car in your dedicated parking space or in the provided garage and leave it for the duration of your stay. An 8-minute walk gets you to the acclaimed Gulf Coast beach, shopping, restaurants, and activities.
After sightseeing, return to your Port A townhome and relax on your outdoor patio. Outdoor chairs are there for you to enjoy. The ground floor holds 2 bedrooms that are separated by a shared walk-through bathroom. Guest bedroom 4 (BR4) offers a full-size bunk bed, a sofa sleeper, a dresser, and a big-screen TV. Guest bedroom 3 (BR3) has a queen bed, dresser, flat-screen TV, and private patio entry. Both rooms share an adjoining bathroom with a stand-up shower. The washer and dryer are tucked neatly in a hallway closet. The stairs lead up to the living and kitchen area. My family and I enjoyed our stay! It was a great location close to everything with lots of parking which was a huge plus for my family, many Port A stays don't have much parking. The rooms were all very spacious and tidy! The reason I'm giving 4 stars is we had a few issues during our stay, all of which were mostly resolved but still caused us a little hassle. Every staff person we talked with was nice and helpful! I just wish that for what you pay for a property like this, that it comes with no issues at all. The lock on the door should be replaced, we could barely use it because the lock was jammed or you had to turn the lock so fast and pull hard, we mostly ended up using the garage code which was fine, just a little awkward that during our whole stay we could only get the door to work a handful of times. We did have someone look at it and they just showed us how to pull the door faster, which didn't really solve the issue. We also had a leak under the kitchen sink, we did dishes one night and noticed a ton of water on the floor. We notified them immediately and they sent someone in the morning. And lastly, one of the spare comforters was stained and needs to be replaced. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, I'm just leaving these specifics here so that hopefully they can address the issues for the next guests.

The Savvy Pelican was in a great location and had lots of room for our group of 8 (inclding 4 children ages 9 through 13). Overall, the bathrooms, kitchen, & living areas were neat and clean (except for the mold problem). Unfortunately, there was a problem with mold in the town home: (1) mold coming out of ceiling vents in kitchen and 1 bathroom; (2) Dishwasher was broken and filled with EXTREME mold. Also, the outside picnic area had overgrown weeds covering picnic table & picnic table was splintered wood, and the grill had a rusted hole through the bottom (not usable). Also, the TV in the downstairs bedroom didn't work, possibly because there were no batteries in 1 of the remotes. While the pool area was beautiful, the pool restroom doorknob was off, the railing on 1 of the pool steps was broken off, and there was lots of mold on underneath of water slide. There were other problems, but these were the ones that made our stay less than great.
