About this villa rental
Situated in Imperia, this charming villa for $152 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Casa Margherita is located in the green Ligurian countryside surrounded by ancient olive trees just 5 minutes drive from the city and the sea. Sitting in the cool patio you can enjoy a 270 degree view of the Gulf of Imperia up to the Ligurian Maritime Alps. Equipped with all the appliances (including the dishwasher) it is ideal for relaxing holidays and in contact with nature. The garden is completely fenced and for the exclusive use of guests. Inside you can find a beautiful pergola to eat al fresco enjoying the magnificent panorama, a relaxation area with deck chairs, umbrella and outdoor shower and a nice lounge to sip aperitifs watching the sunset over the sea and the first lights of the city that come on. The house is on 2 levels. On the ground floor we find the kitchen that overlooks the patio to eat in complete relaxation, the living room with 2 comfortable sofas (one of which is a bed) a table and the old sideboard of the grandmother. Attached to the living room there is a bathroom (with shower) and a washing machine. Going up the stairs you reach the second floor where we find the bedrooms. The first bedroom has a comfortable double bed and a French window overlooking the terrace overlooking the whole garden, the surrounding countryside and from which you can enjoy a magnificent sea view. The second bedroom has 2 single beds (which can be joined in a double bed as seen in the photographs) and overlooks a cool and secret shady garden full of aromatic herbs. To complete the plan there is the second bathroom with bathtub. Casa Margherita is ideal for couples and families who want to spend relaxing holidays in contact with nature but remaining very close to the beautiful Ligurian Sea. In fact it is located in a strategic position because in 5 minutes you can reach the beaches of Imperia Oneglia and in 10 minutes (going down the other side of the hill) you can reach the sandy beaches of Diano Marina. Property is very well located no far from Imperia center. We enjoyed the fantastic view to Imperia and the harbor. House gad all we needed. In summer it can be very hot in tge region. We enjoined that on the property are different places to stay. Do with moving sun you always find a place in the shadow. Drive way up to the property is steep but drivable also with bigger car. Recommend to preview with map street view

Everything was exactly as the listing describes. The views and the kitchen drew us to this listing, what we found in real life was so much better in person.
First, we met Alessandro who met us in person and introduced us to the place and how it works. That was very helpful. He gave us very good recommendations, all of which were excellent! He is responsive and kind and gave us a very good start!
Everything was clean and well equipped for cooking and spending a lot of time "at home". I enjoyed cooking, reading, yoga and even doing laundry with a gorgeous view of the sea!
This was a working vacation and the internet speeds were very good. The only improvement in that regard would be a desk or work table, but we were able to set something up upstairs that functioned well. This setup allowed one of us to work in a private room without being disturbed.
Extra points for the visits from Gigi, the local kitty. She is very sweet!!
The road up to the house is an adventure, but no problem at all for our medium-sized auto. Cycling from the house, a challenge for my cyclist partner, which he enjoyed, but I took my bike to town in the car and rode along the coast - that worked well for us both.
We highly recommend a stay here and have Casa Margherita high on our list to return! Thank you for everything Alessandro!!

Spannende Anfahrt
Die Anfahrt ist mit einem VW Bus ziemlich spektakulär. Am letzten Tag haben wir uns in einer der vielen Nadelöhr - Kurven noch die Tür vermackelt. Die Stühle, Liegen und Sitzgelegenheiten im Außenbereich (Terrassen) waren uns nicht bequem genug. Die Aussicht, die Betten und der Komfort insgesamt waren prima. Sehr gut wurden wir von Frau Di Nauta betreut. Sie gab uns super Tipps und war jederzeit ansprechbar. Sehr angenehme direkte Nachbarschaft links und rechts. Ansonsten schon sehr einsam gelegen. Für Leute mit Gehbehinderung nicht gut geeignet, da sehr viele Treppen zu bewältigen sind. Die Fotos sind nicht geschönt. Es hat uns gut gefallen.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit tollem Meerblick
Der Blick vom Haus auf´s Meer ist traumhaft. Das Grundstück ist klein, aber es stehen 3 Terassen zur Verfügung. Für Reisende mit Hund : das Grundstück ist komplett umzäunt und man kann den Hund frei laufen lassen. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, es gibt zwei Bäder und die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. WLAN funktioniert gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.
Einzig die Auffahrt zum Haus ist etwas beschwerlich, da sehr steile, kurvige, enge Straße, allerdings mit sehr wenig Verkehr.
Insgesamt vergebe ich die volle Punktzahl da der Blick für die Auffahrt mehr als entschädigt.

Wir hatten sehr schöne 2 Wochen oberhalb von Imperia mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf die Küste, das Meer und die Berge.

Heerlijke week gehad
We hebben een hele goede week gehad. Het ontvangst van Alessandro was heel fijn en gastvrij. Hij was altijd goed bereikbaar en gaf goede uitleg over de omgeving en stond altijd klaar. Dank je wel Alessandro!
Het uitzicht is fantastisch en het huisje was sfeervol en ontzettend schoon. We hebben heerlijk buiten kunnen ontbijten en BBQ-en: We hebben een hele goede week gehad met onze twee kinderen van 9 en 11 jaar.
De rit naar boven was de eerste keer even spannend, maar na twee keer geen probleem en prima te doen.

Sehr schönes Haus
Ein sehr gelegenes Haus (wenn auch schwer zu erreichen: 20% Steigung, enge Kurven, mein armer Fahrradträger…) mit tollem Blick über Imperia hinaus aufs Meer! Leider war während unseres Aufenthalts das Wetter nicht ganz optimal, was im Haus durch die noch vom Winter abgekühlten Wände unseren Aufenthalt etwas getrübt hat. Die Betreuung durch das Team von Alessandro war sehr gut!
Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt in einer tollen Location!

Tolles Haus mit sensationellem Ausblick
Schönes Haus, tip top sauber! Perfekt für 4 Personen und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die letzten 600 auf der Privatstrasse (Steigung 20%) sind kein Problem. Nur etwas Bodenfreiheit sollte das Auto haben. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und kommen gerne wieder.

Das Haus und der Ausblick sind ein Highlight
Ich war mit meinen 3 jugendlichen Kindern dort. Für die 3 war es ruhig; ich habe es sehr genossen. Der Ausblick ist sagenhaft. Die Anfahrt (20% Steigung und enge Straße) allerdings auch.... Alessandro war sehr hilfsbereit, sympathisch und immer für uns da.

Tolles Haus mit fantastischer Aussicht!!!
Zuerst einmal wollen wir Elena und Alessandro, die dieses Haus für die Besitzerin verwalten, Danke und Grazie sagen: Sie standen uns immer für alle Fragen und Tipps (wo ist ein schöner Sandstrand? Welches Restaurant könnt ihr empfehlen? Wo bekommen wir xy her?) zur Verfügung und sind wirklich mit Leib und Seele für alles da. Vielen Dank ihr Beiden!
Nun zum Haus: Es befindet sich wie beschrieben fast auf dem Gipfel eines Hügels und hat einen fantastischen Ausblick auf Imperia und das Meer - frühmorgens kann man mit diesem Blick und einem Kaffee den Tag beginnen, tagsüber auf den Sonnenliegen die Aussicht genießen oder abends bei einem Gläschen Wein die Lichter der Stadt anschauen.
Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht (wir wollten noch einen Pizzaroller zur Küche beisteuern, haben es aber leider nicht mehr geschafft), gut aufgeteilt und liebevoll eingerichtet.
Die oft besprochene steile Anfahrt zum Haus ist beim ersten Mal Fahren vielleicht etwas anspruchsvoll, aber schon beim dritten Mal hat man sich daran gewöhnt und der Weg ist auch mit einem größeren Auto wirklich gut machbar, zumal die Straße (Privatstraße)) so gut wie nicht befahren ist.
Bei den Stränden hat man die Auswahl Kies (z.B. Galeazza) oder Fels-/Sandstrand (unser Favorit: Riva Ligure). Man muss manchmal ein bisschen zu einem Strand fahren, aber die Strecke ist schön und so sieht man nebenher auch noch ein bisschen was.
Imperia selbst ist mit guten Restaurants, netten Geschäften und einer kleinen Strandpromenade immer wieder einen Besuch wert.
Wir hatten ein bisschen Probleme mit Mücken, aber nach der Anbringung eines Moskitonetzes in den Balkontüren der Schlafzimmer, Mücken-Steckern und der Anwendung lokaler Anti-Mücken-Lotionen (Autan & Co. halfen bei uns nicht) war auch das kein Problem mehr.
Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen, es ist wirklich eine Reise wert! Und Danke noch einmal für Alles an Elena und Alessandro!

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable. Alexandro et Elena sont des hôtes très attentionnés. A notre arrivée ils nous ont accueilli avec une glace et de quoi nous rafraîchir. La maison était parfaitement propre. Elena nous a très bien expliqué tout ce qu'il faut faire à Imperia. Je recommande cette maison très spacieuse avec une vue splendide sur la ville et la mer. Tolles Haus, tolle Betreuung, toller Urlaub
Das Objekt ist schön gelegen unweit der Stadt und der Strände; die Straße dorthin ist extrem steil und eng, aber gut befahrbar.
Die Übergabe der Wohnung durch Alessandro war sehr freundlich und wirklich perfekt, mit all den Tipps, die wir bekommen haben und wozu es auch schriftliche Unterlagen gab, wo man jederzeit nachlesen konnte.
Papeete war unser Lieblingsstrand, aber in einer Woche konnten wir nicht alles entdecken.

Von dem Ausblick bekommt man nicht genug
Elena und Alessandro waren hervorragende Gastgeber, die im Vorfeld und während des Urlaubs immer erreichbar waren und uns tolle Tipps zu Restaurants und Stränden gegeben haben. Schon der liebevolle Empfang hat uns sehr erfreut. In dem Haus kann man sich rundum wohl fühlen und es fehlt an nichts. Aber vor allem hat es uns der Blick ins Tal und auf das Meer angetan. Dieser entschädigt auch die erschwerte steile Auffahrt zum Haus. Abends sieht man die Lichter der Stadt und vom Hafen und tagsüber kann man die Weite des Meeres genießen.
Wir haben zwei sehr erholsame Wochen hier verbracht und kommen gerne wieder.

Phantastisches Ligurien
Eine sehr schöne , geräumige Wohnung mit einer sehr guten Ausstattung. Der Ausblick von den zwei Terassen ist einmalig Schön. In Imperia ist man mit dem Auto in 10 min, zum Baden in der Umgebung oder Fahrrad fahren.. Die Vermieter Alessandro und Elena sind sehr Nett und Hilfsbereit.
Kleiner Tipp: Abends hat man es mit Tigermücken zu tun, man hört und sieht Sie nicht aber kommen in Vielzahl vor.
Wir haben die Erfahrung gemacht: einheimische Produkte verwenden und lange leichte Kleidung.
Fazit : Ein sehr schöner Urlaub in einer phantastischen Gegend.

The house is absolutely wonderful and even more beautiful than we have expected from the pictures!!
The view is gorgeaous! We enjoyed it already in the morning with the first coffee and in the evening by a nice glass of wine.
The house and also the garden are made with love and passion, Beautiful decorated, we really enjoyed it.The kitchen is very well equipped so cooking of fresh fish from the weekly market in Oneglia was a pleasure especialyl with the big window in the kitchen which makes the cook feel being outside with the guests, which is great!
And again a big thank you to you both as amazing hosts! You made us feel very welcome and you took so prudently care of us, already before we arrived by informing about weather and temperatur, really sweet!

Amazing view and great hosts!
Dear Alessandro and Elena, thank you for the beautiful week in Italy. The House was exactly as shown on the pictures. Especially the view was amazing.
The house itself was very clean and had everything we needed. It also was a joyful time for our dogs, who were able to play around in the garden because the yard was completly fenced.

Wonderful relaxing and pleasant holiday
We spent two wonderful weeks in this house. The house is beautifully situated in the middle of olive trees, with fantastic views of the sea and imperia.
The house is very pretty and furnished with lots of love. Very clean and it has everything we needed.
The Ligurian coast offers many beautiful beaches of sand or pebbles, walks in enchanted valleys with small villages and always with beautiful views.
