Beautiful location and charming hotel.
Unfortunately, the service did not match the standard I expected for this price range.
Despite contacting the hotel in advance and having my requests confirmed by email, several details were not communicated to the staff. Breakfast was particularly disappointing: I waited around 30 minutes without being acknowledged, while other guests were attended to several times. I contacted the hotel directly after my stay to share these concerns, but unfortunately received no response or acknowledgment.
Overall, a beautiful property, but the service did not justify the price or expectations.

Vila Planinka is a wonderful property in the heart of the Jezersko valley. The views are breathtaking, and you're just a short walk or bike ride from hiking trails and sights throughout the valley. A perfect base for anyone who loves the outdoors.
The staff at Vila Planinka made our stay truly special. Vanessa went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and every member of the team, from the front desk to the waiters, was warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. The chef's meals were a highlight, and the waiters made every dinner feel relaxed and personal. We felt so well taken care of the entire time, and it's rare to find a team that cares this much. We loved every one of them.
My only complaint is the shower heads not attaching higher up to make it easier to take a full shower.

Such a beautiful property great beds however we don’t use duvets beautiful rooms and stunning views
Having a shower in bath is quite dangerous and it wasn’t adjustable so couldn’t stand underneath it , impossible to wash hair
Also 2 nights is enough as there is no pool , walking to lake is lovely however I wouldn’t put my big toe in water looked like algae and very unattractive cafe
So certainly wouldn’t recommend it
They ran out of 2 wines so upsold wine by glass ( should have sold at same price ) even no English breakfast tea !!! Keep good stocks in future

Vila Planinka is a really special place. It’s set on the edge of the alpine meadows at Jezersko, with amazing views up to the peaks of the Kamnik–Savinja Alps.
Our room was very comfortable, with a good en-suite and a small balcony. The food is excellent – we had a delicious tasting menu one night, and on our second night they sent us to dinner at a local farm, which turned out to be a brilliant recommendation.
The team are helpful and kind. Special mention to Marco and also to Vikas on the front desk, who talked us through everything there is to do locally. We followed his advice and had some great walks. There are many good routes into the mountains from here, including the one up to the famous Češka koča, the Czech hut.
It’s only about an hour from Ljubljana airport, but it puts you straight into the mountains, and it’s wonderfully peaceful. A very good place to begin a holiday in Slovenia.
This hotel was everything we hoped it would be!
