The location is perfect at the edge of the Marais neighborhood in a narrow and quiet street with plenty of local restaurants and pastry shops to enjoy. There was a basement where we could leave our luggage after we checked out. There was a washing machine for our clothes and a fridge. The person who works at the desk was very helpful and friendly. We had a tiny terrace with table and chairs in the airwell at the back of the building.
We had the PMR room (handicapped room - though we are not handicapped), so our experience may be different from the rest of the building. The PMR room arrangement was confusing with slippery floors in the bathroom, without any support bars around the toilet or the shower. I imagine that it would not meet the code in the US, as it could be potentially dangerous for a handicapped person. The shower could also be terribly hot. Paris is an expensive city to visit but we felt that this hotel was too expensive for the value we got. There are 2 hanging lamps over the bed and one of them is directly over one side of the bed and I kept banging my head. Next time, we will reserve a proper hotel.

Area was great
Not very clean, there were Ants in both bedrooms, bathroom and entrance, the floors hadn’t been brushed or cleaned, the bathroom had some mould and some of the towels had stains on.
