The property is spacious, located away from the main road, quiet, clean pool, car parking included. Nice yard, well-equipped house (wifi, washing machine, air conditioning, iron, hairdryer, kitchen tools, etc.).
It is pet friendly, we had a dog with us.
On departure, we received an olive oil gift from the property owner.
The owner gave us plenty of instructions and restrictions, some OK (how to use the cooking machine, etc), some pretty strange (AC is 25 Celsius max. - established by the government !:, set the washing machine no more than 40 Celsius, clean the strove after every use, the pool is not for playing but for swimming and relaxation - my son disagrees with that :) ). The owner lives the close neighbourhood , cleaning every morning the pool, entering the property and sometimes even in the house without prior warning. He scolded us during the stay when he considered so. He gave us the impression of continuous surveillance and lack of intimacy.

And do not forget that the island is beautiful and the islanders are so friendly.
There was nothing disappointing, it is just that we prefer softer beds.

Great location for exploring island. EVERYTHING provided. Excellent hosts who were totally unobtrusive but close by and available for any queries.
We were concerned about aircraft noise as the airport is close and we are very sensitive to any noise.
We could see and hear aircraft on the approach to airport but did not find the level of noise to be a problem.

The landscapes and beaches of Zakyntos Island are extraordinary
There are so many that I don't know what to start with, so:
- first of all, and most disturbing, the way the owner relates to us ... from the beginning, we had the feeling that he is the guest and we have to ensure all his comfort and obey his rules exactly ... a frustrated man,
- Secondly, we chose this location mainly because of the pool. It is the third year when we choose this type of villa and so far we have only had words of praise. We have 2 children who were eager to enjoy the pool ... instead George ruined all their joy by forbidding them to play in the pool ... the pool is just for easy swimming (he said). If he specifies this in the description ... we certainly would not make the reservation,
- Thirdly, on the second day of our stay we discovered a mouse in the villa ... when I told the owner about the problem and about the fact that it creates discomfort especially for children ... he said it was our fault that entered because we have the door open ... I couldn't believe it (then why did he still have nets on all the doors?),
- on the third day he accused us of taking his towels, and when we showed them to him in the closet untouched, he didn't even apologize for the accusations,
- he came in our absence and checked the interior of the villa daily and when we returned from the beach he brought all kinds of accusations, such as: you didn't wash your stove !, the water level in the pool is low ... it means that the children jumped into the water !, did not close your insect nets on the doors!...
