This is a year round Lakefront home situated on 2+ acres located on the pristine Embden pond which is known for being one of the cleanest lakes in Maine. It's a large 2,000+ SF home that has 3 + bedrooms, 2 full baths and sleeps up to 10 people ( Max). It's very private and very quiet. great place right on the water

This waterfront rental is awesome! There's was plenty of room inside for my wife as well as our children and grandchildren. All the beds were comfortable and the setup included two large bedrooms and a top floor with many beds where the grandchildren slept. There was lots of room to park vehicles and a big front yard leading down to the pond. We made use of the dock provided for our boat, enjoying a fair amount of fishing and water tubing. Embden Pond is a sizeble body of water, it could easily be considered a lake instead. It's very clean and good for swimming and fishing. We caught some fine, sizable small mouth bass fishing from the boat. I highly recommend this property as a vacation rental!

The house was lovely and clean upon arrival, with everything we needed to enjoy the beautiful lake for two whole weeks. Naps in the hammock? Check. S'mores at the firepit? Check. Swimming dock, tubes, kayaks and sup? Check. Beautiful sunrises? Check. We've stayed at different places in this vicinity in the past and this is great value for the money. It is clear the owners love this place and take good care of it. In addition to the lake access and a beautiful view, you can easily walk back into the woods on the many trails in the area. They also had a hummingbird feeder and we had lots of activity all two weeks. There is also a huge amount of nature and birds to take in from osprey to eagles, loons, woodpeckers, whipoorwills, etc. I would stay here all summer if I could.
