Situated in Oak Island, this attractive house for $286 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Great family beach house with beautiful ocean view! “Jackson's Corner" has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, outside shower, and 2 fantastic decks with unobstructed ocean views! Beach access is only steps away. This beach getaway will comfortably sleep 8. Spend time relaxing on the front deck swing enjoying the views and sounds of the ocean! Amenities include dishwasher, washer/dryer, wi-fi internet, charcoal grill, central air HVAC, outside shower, 2 ocean facing decks, and much more! Walk to many Oak Island conveniences including Food Lion, Publix, Dairy Queen, and several restaurants! **You are responsible for bringing your own towels and sheets for 1 King, 2 Queen Beds, 1 Double/Full to comfortably sleep 8 people. Weekly rentals only during peak season. **Pets allowed - please note dogs will not be able to go to the 2nd floor unless they are small enough to be carried due to the spiral staircase. No pets on the furniture! We have a 2nd unit (duplex) that is the same layout available for rent as well. You can open up the front porch divider to have 1 large porch and this will also give you 3 more BR's and 2 more baths. Perfect spot next to the beach. Great place to stay with the pets. Everything you need in the kitchen. Beds are great too. The house was ready early so we actually got to check in at 0900 in the morning. We'll definitely look for this place again next time we are coming to Osk Island.

The location was great but the house was very small. If you are on deck and someone is renting the other side you are side by side and will definitely hear each other's conversations. Staircase is more like a corkscrew than a spiral. But beach access and beach itself...GREAT!

The condo has nice size and comfortable beds. The kitchen is stocked very well. Everything worked. The view of the ocean is amazing, being it is second row. The houses that were in front of the condo have been removed and give the best view.
The only drawback is no dining table. But for a short 4 nights stay we did our best. It’s tight if you have more then 3 people eating at the small bar. We would stay again

This house is in an ideal spot, but it kind of fell short for us beyond that. Unfortunately, we came on a rainy weekend and had to spend more time inside than we would have liked. The house is much older and needs a few updates. The kitchen is stocked with everything one might need to prepare a meal; which was much appreciated.
The staircase is a hazard. We have a spiral staircase, in our own home, but we were not prepared for how small/narrow this staircase actually was. The mattresses were uncomfortable, and we all fought to sit in the one recliner.
We were also disappointed when we learned that after paying a cleaning fee, we were still responsible for washing and drying any hand towels we used, and running and unloading the dishwasher before we checked out. We stripped the beds of our own linens and brought our own towels, so this was a little surprising.
With that all being said, had we actually gotten to spend our days on the beach, some of what we found at Jackson’s Corner would not have been a huge issue. You are definitely paying for the view and convenience of being close to the ocean. Hopefully, you have great weather when you book!

We came for quick weekend to visit with family and enjoy some sunshine and sandy toes! The kids had a blast the house accommodated us all perfectly (6 adults, two children and one pup) we will be back again!

Unblocked views!!! There are no homes on the dune/front row so this is a great beachfront opportunity.
A two-block walk to the grocery store, beach shops, and Dairy Queen!
The spiral staircase is a bit "snug", but the owners are honest about the restrictions it brings in the posting.

The house was very nice. Beds are comfortable. Only problem was lock on front door which didn't always open until several attempts. Front door sticks shut and needs a hefty yank to open sometimes.

We stayed during hurricane Ian's landfall. The host checked on us often to make sure we were faring well. The house withstood the storm well and oak island was quick to recover.

Everything was great and as listed. the only thing I did not like was the spiral stairs. I knew from the listing this house had these stairs, so it was not a surprise. My wife and I just used the downstairs bedroom and bath. If you have more people staying this could be an issue.

This is a perfect location! Did I say the location is perfect??? It is!!! A quick walk back and forth over a dune to the beach and the view front the front porch swing is idyllic! The bedrooms are great sizes. The kitchen/living/eating area is small but using the front porch extends that area. The stairs are really steep…very tall people have issues and you need to have small luggage and not a large suitcase to take up. This is a cozy beach cottage. I my is well equipped with all you need. I will say watch the decorative stones at the bottom of the stairs. I twisted my ankle pretty severely on them on the first day as I wasn’t paying attention stepping from the bottom stair onto a round disc in the ground and ended up with a foot 1/2 on and 1/2 off the disc. But what a great place to put your foot up and relax a few days! We enjoyed our stay so much! Did I mention the location??? And that we saw sea turtles being born??? It was a memorable trip and we’d love to stay again. (And if you can arrange to stay with friends and have the whole front porch…do it!)

Convenient beach access, great ocean view, and wonderful deck for having meals and hanging out. It was everything we wanted for a girls weekend getaway.

Jackson’s Corner
This was our 2nd year staying at Jackson’s Corner. The view is amazing! We enjoying time on the swing watching the waves crash. Absolutely a awesome place to stay!

If you are looking for a wonderful location with incredibly easy access to the beach and all that Oak Island has to offer, it's this house! We loved the convenience and view.
However, there were some concerns with the house itself. There was significant dampness present including buckling walls near electrical outlets, dripping AC vents and Damp Rid buckets and hangers throughout. The outdoor space was lovely, but hard to enjoy with the numerous broken chairs on both porch levels. Overall, the location made everything worth it, but there is several maintenance issues that need to be addressed.

We only had two days so this property made a lot of sense. Everything we needed was in walking distance and the view of the beach was fantastic.

The views are amazing. Takes some getting used to the spiral staircase. No dining area except chairs at the bar and the table on the deck. Outdoor shower wasn't working but was a little chilly for us and the host was getting it taken care of right away. We will definitely be back.

I loved everything! We were able to enjoy the balconies and front porch swing when it rained for a short while. Loved every moment!

Perfect location
This beach house is located just across the street from the ocean with no houses in front to block your view. It is also centrally located, everything is in walking distance. We look forward to coming back!
