The hotel is located outside the city centre, but Bolt can get you into town in about 10 minutes at a reasonable price. There is also a large parking lot right in front of the hotel.
The rooms are simple but spotlessly clean, with everything you need for a stay of one to three nights. The welcome is great, too: a stylish lounge and genuinely smiling, friendly staff.
But the best part is the breakfast! Something you don’t always find even in much more expensive hotels nowadays. Suddenly, you feel as if you’ve stepped into Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel. I’d be curious to know if it was an inspiration! The pastel colours, vintage touches, nostalgic atmosphere and cosy details make the whole experience feel special.
And the food is fantastic: great quality, excellent tea, good coffee, and homemade pancakes that you get to make yourself, among other treats. And staff! Smiling, willing to help all the time. especially a lady at the reception - native English speaker. I want ot come back!

Lovely comfortable rooms with lots of useful features. The bathrooms were spacious and well-equipped with toiletries. The shared area was very nicely furnished and provided a great place to eat or relax with a book or a game, inside and out. The kitchenette was useful for making tea and coffee (free of charge) and storing cold produce. Our host Carole was very friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ergersheim. We could park on the driveway and store our bikes safely in a locked garage. A cycle ride to Strasbourg along the canal is a great way to spend a day here!

Très jolie décoration. Endroit chaleureux et très propre. Le petit déjeuner est varié et largement suffisant, nous avons profité de la terrasse. Nous gardons un bon souvenir de notre séjour. Proche de Obernai que nous avons pu visiter..

A beautiful well appointed place with excellent large bedrooms and super bathrooms. A lovely downstairs space and outside terrace for breakfast. Rooms overlooking the garden (Hansel and Gretel) were great. The breakfast was also very good. The one night stay was super and a highlight of our trip, a welcome rest after a lot of driving. Close to P+R trains into Strasbourg and close to onward motorways. Our host was very attentive and charming.
