Nestled in Lazise, this charming cottage for $341 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Our Home: Tower: Entrance and small sitting room. A charming winding staircase leads to the pretty double bedroom and en-suite bathroom on the first floor. The windows of the tower give a lovely view on the Lake and on the garden below. Continue up the winding staircase to the second twin bedroom and up again to the top of the Tower: enjoy the stunning view from this terrace: the Lake, Monte Baldo. The Tower is equipped with air conditioning. Connected to the Tower by a perfumed and lovely lemon garden is a dependence: here you will find a large and comfortable sitting room, with a living area and one sofa bed for two people. Next to the living room there is a large and fully equipped kitchen, plus a bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. Kitchen, living room and bathroom are all located on the ground floor. The Garden: Our lovely romantic garden has a terrace with tables and chairs looking out to the Lake: from this position you can enjoy spectacular sunsets. OUR HISTORY: The name Lazise has its origins in “Lacus”, which means “village by the Lake”. This is a very ancient town: the area has been lived in since the iron era. Many remains of stilts have been found, and what has been found of the Roman times shows how Lazise, also blessed by its fortunate geographical position, had in fact become very important. In Medieval Times it became so important, that a castle, walls, and moat were built. During the XIII and XIV Lazise belonged to the Scaligeri – who completed the walls of the castle. The Tower, opposite the Lake, has always had a great strategic importance. Thanks to its privileged position, in recent times it was used as a watch tower, and also as a shooting lodge. NEAR THE TOWER: Parks, Gardens, and Theme Parks Villa dei Cedri, located in a 17th century Villa in the near village of Colà has Thermal waters, and swimming pools. Giardino Sigurtà : is a beautiful Italian Garden 15 Km away (in Valeggio sul Mincio). Parco Zoo- where you can enjoy a safari in the middle of African animals. Theme Parks: Gardaland, Caneva World, and Movie Land (all 5 Km away).

We stayed for one week with 4 Adults and 3 Kids. Its such a lovely, charming and extraordinary place. Close to everything (beach, boats, restaurants). Anna supported us all the time. The communication was perfect. We will come back.

I have wanted to stay here for years. A historic building with amenities. The spiral staircase was only way to get to the bedrooms. Lovely to have a private garden.

Traumhaftes Anwesen
Die Unterkunft ist absolut zentral in Lazise gelegen und hat alles was man braucht. Alles war super sauber und die Küche war top ausgestattet. Im Garten hat man einen herrlichen Blick über den Gardasee und auf die Berge. Hier kann man Abends in aller Ruhe grillen, vom Trubel in der Altstadt bekommt man nichts mit. Die Betten im Turm waren absolut bequem, das Schlafsofa im „Anbau“ war etwas weich. Einziger „Minuspunkt“ war dass es im Turm leider nur ein Badezimmer gibt. Alles in allem die schönste Unterkunft in der besten Lage in der ich jemals übernachtet habe😊

Fantastisk beliggende feriebolig med dejlig have.
Vi tilbragte en uge i den centralt beliggende feriebolig og den tilhørende have. Haven var helt fantastisk og vi nød at indtage vores måltider der. Udsigten kunne ikke være bedre. Vores hund var meget begejstret for muren, hvorfra hun havde et godt overblik over de forbipasserende.
I løbet af ferien blev vi overrasket af en storm som betød, at vi oplevede en sandstorm, som trængte ind i huset.
Samme dag blev huset rengjort og der var ikke noget at komme efter.
Samlet set var bolig og have et fantastisk udgangspunkt for en dejlig ferie.

Tolle Pfingsferien!
Das Anwesen befindet sich direkt an der Uferpromenade mitten in der geschichtsträchtigen Kulisse von Lazise mit direktem Blick über den Südteil des Gardasees. Im Garten kann man den ganzen Tag die Sonne und den herrlichen Sonnenuntergang genießen. Es sind nur ein paar
Schritte in die Altstadt zum Einkaufen oder Kaffeetrinken. Der Turm mit seiner Wendeltreppe und der Dachterrasse bieten einen ständigen Rundum-Blick auf den See. Das gesamte Anwesen und die Einrichtung der Gebäude ist sehr stilvoll gehalten und sehr sauber - die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin ist nett und unkompliziert.
Zur Bewertung dieses Objekt reichen 5 Sterne eigentlich nicht aus - wir haben hier unvergessliche Tage verbracht!

Tolle Lage, sehr unkomplizierte An-und Abreise und sehr netter Kontakt mit der Gastgeberin Anna!
Leider hat es auch viel geregnet, aber Wohnzimmer und Küche sind dafür sehr gemütlich! Die Kinder haben den Turm geliebt.
Ideal auch für unseren Hund.
Die Wendeltreppe im Turm ist allerdings eng, ich denke für fülligere oder körperlich beeinträchtigte Person könnte das eine Herausforderung sein.
Leider schließen nach dem 1.November viele Geschäfte, Restaurants und Bars.
Trotzdem alles in allem war’s für uns prima!

Traumhafter Urlaub in Lazise
Wir waren zu fünft im August 20 21 wieder (bereits zum 5x) bei Anna im Turm in Lazise, was uns wie immer super gut gefallen hat. Das Anwesen, die Lage, die Kommunikation und Freundlichkeit von Anna, sowie die Stimmung am See sind wirklich einmalig, so dass wir sicherlich nicht das letzte mal dort gewesen sind. Die Wohnunung war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet, die Schlafzimmer im Turm haben ein besonderes Flair, der Garten ist groß und mit Liegen ausgestattet und die Aktivitäten Shopping/Baden/Essen sind alle gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal!

Zentraler geht es kaum
Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche am Gardasee verbracht. Das Haus erfüllte alle Erwartungen und war wie beschrieben. Der Garten hatte gemütliche Liegen und auch eine ausreichende Anzahl Stühle. Besonders angenehm war der natürliche Schatten durch die Bäume.
Das Objekt besticht durch seine Lage direkt an der Promenade mit herrlichem Blick über den See. Zum Bäcker oder zu zahlreichen Restaurants sind es nur wenige Gehminuten. Das Auto kann bequem stehen gelassen werden. Die Lage bedingt aber auch den einzigen Nachteil: Bis in die Nacht und den frühen Morgen gehen Passanten am Haus vorbei zu Ihren eigenen Unterkünften (teilweise alkoholisiert und entsprechend laut) und am frühen Morgen sorgt (verständlicherweise) bereits die Stadtreinigung mit ihren Fahrzeugen für Sauberkeit. Das geht natürlich auch nicht ohne Lärm.
Trotzdem können wir das Haus auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Einzigartige Ferienunterkunft
Das liebevoll gestaltete alte und imposante Gemäuer mitten im Zentrum und direkt am See hat alles geboten was wir uns gewünscht hatten. Genügend Platz, schönen Garten mit Liegen zum Sonnenbaden. Der See direkt vor der Türe und alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nur ein paar Meter weiter.
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und können allen Liebhabern von historischen Gebäuden einen Aufenthalt hier sehr empfehlen. Etwas beweglich sollte man allerdings sein um die Wendeltreppe im Turm problemlos zu begehen.

Wohnen im Mittelalter - mit heutigem Komfort
Wir waren begeistert, wohnen im Mittelalter-Turm oder im Garten mit Blick auf den See und direkt an der Promenade.
Ja, das Wohnzimmer, zusätzliches zweites Bad mit Waschmaschine und Küche sind hinter der Orangerie, geräumig, bequem und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Dringend empfehlenswert! Wir werden wiederkommen.

Super Lage, tolle Atmosphäre, einzigartige Unterkunft
Wir waren mit einem befreundetem Paar auf einer Rundreise und uns gefiel der Turm auf Anhieb. Das Ensemble mit Garten, Turm, Zitronerie und Anbau ist in die Stadtmauer integriert und bietet ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Abends konnten wir den Turm anstrahlen und viele Passanten bestaunten unsere Unterkunft. Die gemeinsame Nutzung des Bads im Turm mit zwei Schlafzimmern setzt eine große Vertrautheit voraus. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass das Ensemble längere Zeit nicht benutzt war und auch ob der Größe wirkte es leicht spinnnwebig und eingestaubt. Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr schön und und wird für uns unvergesslich bleiben.

Sehr schön und aussergewöhnlich
Das Haus ist in direkter Lage am Gardasee und zur Altstadt von Lazise. Es ist ein außergewöhnliches Haus mit Garten und besticht durch Lage und Character. 4* vonnuns deshalb weil die Möbel wirklich einfachst sind, es wäre schön wenn diese dem tollen Gebäude angeglichen werden. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohlgefühlt und haben es sehr genossen! Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war super, wir konnten am Abreisetag so lange bleiben wie wir wollten da die nächsten Gäste erst am nächsten Tag kamen - der Vorschlag kam von Anna selber. Definitiv ein Tipp wer in Lazise übernachten will und nicht großartig wert auf Komfort dafür Charakter und Toplage haben will!

Perfect location
This is a rustic place that is full of character. It is not plush but if luxury is what you are after, then go to a hotel or resort It's clean and comfortable with everything that you need and great views. Just 10 seconds walk to the lake edge and just a minute walk to the bars and restaurants. In the garden, you can hear a gentle hum from all the passers by during the day, but at night it's so quiet, all you can hear are the ducks. There is a little beach about a minute walk away and the harbour is just 5 minutes walk. Our only wish is that the rooftop terrace had some furniture, we would have spent some time there, instead, we spent most of our time in the garden which has both sunny and shady areas, chairs with a dining table and sun loungers. A really charming place to spend a week .

Traumurlaub am Gardasee - Lazise
Wir haben den Urlaub am Gradasee im Turm von Lazise schon das dritte Mal verbracht und wie immer waren wir absolut begeistert. Die einzigartige Lage des Grundstücks, als auch der Turm mit seinem tollen Flair und der Garten haben uns wieder 14 Tage richtig erholen lassen. Perfect stay, would like to come again
Apart from the artifical gras that was missing from the roof top, everything was found as described in the pictures. Above all, check-in and -out was most easy. Really appeciated the stay.

Vi havde den mest vidunderlige ferie, huset har så meget atmosfære med en skøn og hyggelig have, hvor vi nød alle dagens måltider. Beliggenheden og udsigten over Gardasøen fra haven er fantastisk, og der oplever man også de smukkeste solnedgange. The place is extremely large and we only saw each other when we met for meals. The tower gave us an excellent view of the Lake. We most likely would not have known about Lazise if it wasn't for this home. Everything is as pictured. One block from the pedestrian area of shops, restaurants, bars! A block from the ferry stop! 2 blocks from the bus stops. Directly across the street from the lake. Saw some wonderful sunsets. We cooked out 2 nights and ate in the beautiful garden. We had trouble with the exterior lights but the owner was very quick to respond and fixed them for us! Only the tower and the garden gets internet. One morning we woke up to find this incredible market outside our gate! Thank you Anna!

We were delighted to realise, after spotting this amazing property on a previous trip to Lazise, that we could actually rent it. It is indeed a wonderful property.
However the fittings need updating or a thorough clean. The linen is WELL worn and sadly didn't feel "fresh". Everything we touched didn't feel clean, apart from the glasses/crockery.
Because we found the incredibly narrow stairs too much for us, but understandable that they are there, we decided to sleep on the sofa beds in the sitting room. They seriously need re-newing.
We LOVE Lake Garda and are delighted we had a chance to stay in such a historic building, but for a little more care it could have been wonderful. PS We DIDN'T take our rubbish to the Communal bins, down the road, as instructed. We bagged it and left it all outside - at the back.

This was our first visit to Lake Garda and it was just as beautiful as we thought it would be. But staying in such a fabulous home really put the cherry on the cake. The Tower was a totally unique and beautiful place to sta and the location of it could not be better. It is literally on the waterfront and just a few yards from the centre of Lazise.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Tower of Lazise - it was fantastic to stay there!
Lazise is a nice little city. The tower is lokated in the city, one minute to the pedestrian precinct at the lake. You really have a wonderful view to the sea.
The tower and the house are very clean and you will find everything in the house, you need.
The garden is grand and really wonderful.
In the night it was very quiet.
Round the property is a fence, perfect for children.
The owner is very friendly!
