Just a 5 minute walk to the township of Whitianga with its abundance of cafes and restaurants and 10 minutes walk to the beach, ferry and banana boat, you'll find plenty to do, or simply stay in and relax with an on site massage (bookings required). If your feeling energetic, walk across the road to the free tennis courts and sports ground. Special conditions: Blow up bed and extra linen on request. This bach was perfectly suited to our needs. The general exterior look could be improved very easily by removing the falling falling down sheds and there is some much needed maintenance on the decking and steps as the nails are protruding to the point where it would be dangerous without footware and is a tripping hazard in some areas. A lovely setting, great location and very private. I met the owners and they are lovely and very helpful. The photos in the listing are from quite a few years ago compared to what you see now. For the price I would shop around first as it is rather tired and the canvas tarpaulin that is strapped to the pergola flaps around 24/7 which is very noisy.

Lovely little Bach, Grant is a lovely host, very hospitable and helpful, it was a nice quick walk to the village, with all the restaurants and cafes and the beach, it was nice and clean, pretty much most ammenities you need and was perfect for the 3 of us. We had a lovely time.

So close to town! We had a great stay and enjoyed the porch and open layout of the kitchen and living room. Cute little house that had everything we needed for our stay.

We stayed for two separate weeks in this lovely bach, having previously stayed three years ago. It really is a lovely place, with everything you could need, and we were happy and comfortable in this 'home from home', even through rather a lot of wet and stormy weather. Great location a short walk from town centre and the little ferry. We will be back!

Exactly what we wanted. Right in the heart of Whitianga town. 2min walk to the shops and restaurants. Grant was a great host and we will definitely stay there when we go back.

What a beautifully clean and private little bach. So close to town and all the amenities. Lovely owners and neighbours. Everything you would need for a self contained holiday is provided. We will definitely be back!

Though I say little it is quite spacious for one or two maybe three people with sep. dle . bedroom, lounge that has a comfortable couch that turns into double bed, kitchen with breakfast bar and large bath room with a great shower And surrounding this a great pagoda/deck to enjoy the sun And walking distance shops etc yet still private I reccommend this 100%

It is tiny. Quiet funky and well presented. The host had good communication . We did struggle with the heat because of just a fan, no aircon. All up it was a great position and we were happy and relaxed after two days.

Great wee bach which has been nicely renovated. Has everything you need to make meals. Very comfortable bed and lovely bedding. Nice big bathroom. Great location, close to shops, beach and Whitianga Ferry. Grant was a great host.

Listing was very much as described, extremely clean and well-equipped. Directions and check-in was easy. Kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals, and there was a BBQ, which we didn't use. We stayed only a couple of nights as part of our road-trip but you'd be comfortable if you wanted to spend a week or more. Good value considering the area, and only a short walk to the main shopping/eating strip. Highly recommended.
