That being said, the gorgeous living area opens up onto a stunning and sunny balcony – meaning you can enjoy the natural splendour around you from the comfort of this gorgeous home. Comfort is where Johnstone Terrace really shines, the irresistible bedrooms and open plan kitchen/living area have been designed to make our guests as happy and comfortable as possible. Tastefully restored to bring old-world charm hand in hand with modern luxury, Johnstone House Terrace boasts a modern kitchen, free wi-fi, smart TV, board games and boundless character. Despite being situated in an oasis of greenery, Johnstone Terrace is only a short walk away from all the cafes, shops and restaurants that downtown Castlemaine has to offer. Equally perfect for unwinding or entertaining, this little slice of heaven will leave you with a smile on your face as you forget the rest of the world watch the steam train go by. This is the third time I have stayed at one of the Terrace houses and once again I was delighted! I love how we can chose between having rooms set up for couples or friends ie king size or double beds. The property is well maintained, stylish, super warm, comfy and homely. Pretty sure I will be back again soon.

Surprisingly a quiet little retreat given it's on a Main Street. You have everything you need. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Lovely balcony with birds so close you can touch. The pool is within the complex and accessible via rear of property. Would highly recommend.

Johnstone Terrace is wonderfully clean and warm accommodation and just a short walk to the main street. The beds are very comfortable and the great facilities make it feel like 'home away from home'. Donna was very easy to deal with and quickly responded to my queries during the booking process. A wonder experience overall!

House was better than anticipated from photos and description. Loved the layout and the 2 bathrooms was an additional treat. It was warm and cosy and offered off-street parking. Close to town centre and easy to find. Everything possible was provided and we loved the gas log fire in the lounge. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would recommend it to others without hesitation

We were looking for a quiet little family getaway before the craziness of 2018 began and we were not disappointed by our find in Castlemaine! The house was lovely, comfortable and Rod and Donna were the perfect hosts. Always quick to respomd to any queries and help with any issues, couldn't have asked for more. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean- felt just like home away from home. Even our 3yr old slept in her own room all night, 3 nighrs, without any issues (and loved the adventure of it!) I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

we had a fantastic stay here. the house is so comfortable and has a lovely cosy yet spacious feel. it is close to shops and cafes and so is a very easy walk to enjoy what castlemaine has to offer.

We enjoyed our weekend in Castlemaine and the accommodation was lovely. The house was spacious and well appointed. The central heating kept us warm and the gas log fire was an added bonus . It was located within walking distance of the main street. The kitchen was well appointed and there were plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery so we only had to use the dishwasher once. The only additional suggestion could be some cards/boardgames.

My mother and I stayed at Printz Town Apartment 4 for 5 nights. The apartment was lovely. The pool was devine, a relief from the heat of the day. We had a nice stay, would stay again if going to Castlemaine.
