The property is located within 10 minutes of downtown Naples, 5th Avenue and the beautiful Gulf beaches. Please note: parties and/or events are NOT allowed. The Space: Open up the living room pocket doors to bring the outside in, slip into the heated pool and spa year-round, and wander the tropical English-style garden to pick fresh avocado, lemons, coffee, and oranges in peaceful seclusion. A lush, open green space offers a picture-perfect setting for enjoying games of croquet or badminton, passing leisurely afternoons on swings hanging from moss-clad oaks, and roasting s'mores around the fire pit. Sleep Like Kings and Queens Two bedroom wings flank the airy main space of Casa Mariposa. Sleep like royalty in the king-size master suite, made extra-family friendly with a twin daybed and a full-size crib. The en-suite bath is a spa in and of itself with a massive dual-sink vanity, walk-in shower, and a jetted tub for bathing bliss. Three other uniquely styled bedrooms sleep two guests each, and two more can be accommodated on the living room sofa bed. Two additional full baths promise plenty of space for everyone to scrub down after a day in the sun at Vanderbilt Beach. Cook, Splash & Play The culinary-minded folks in your party will adore the gourmet kitchen, where granite counters glimmer, cathedral ceilings soar, and every appliance, tool, and supply is close at hand. Serve meals in two beautiful dining areas — one inside, the other out — and start your mornings with OJ and croissants at a kitchen nook overlooking the pool. A contemporary-cool living room features pocket doors opening out to the patio, making it easy to relax with a movie or book while keeping track of the kids. Be forewarned — it may be difficult to draw people of all ages away from this heated swim-and-soak paradise. The double garage is an epic converted game space, complete with Ping-Pong, foosball, Wii, and a bean bag toss for endless entertainment. Guest Access: The whole house and garden The Neighborhood: Our house is close to downtown Naples and the beaches, however the house is private, so if you want to escape and relax, you have the best of both worlds. Michael & Rikke's home provided the perfect foundation for a wonderful family reunion with plenty of room for the 10 of us. It was everything we wanted and had everything we could have needed and more.
This house is even more beautiful than the pictures and in a quiet location yet close to Downtown Naples. We had such an amazing time enjoying all of its amenities—the gorgeous backyard and pool/jacuzzi, the kitchen, spacious bedrooms and comfy common areas. I’d return in a heartbeat. Thank you.

Our stay at Casa Mariposa in Naples was absolutely perfect! The location, just a 10-minute drive from Downtown Naples and 5th Avenue, offered the ideal blend of convenience and tranquility.
As pet owners, we appreciated the pet-friendly policy and the ample space for our dogs to roam freely. The highlight for us was the incredible pool and hot tub, providing endless relaxation.
Additionally, the thoughtful inclusion of toys and games ensured our kids were entertained throughout our stay.
We couldn't have asked for a better vacation retreat and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable Naples experience!

What a gem! This is one of the best vacation rentals we've experienced. So much care has gone into ensuring guests have a great experience, from the high end bath products, to the extra linens and towels, to the absolutely gorgeous & idyllic location - peaceful yet so close and easy to get downtown to local food and wine. The pool? Divine. The outdoor living areas? Phenomenal. Our group of two families (with five kids total) had a wonderful time swimming, grilling, dining al fresco, and enjoying all the outdoor space to relax, bike, and roam. We hope to be back in the future!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Mariposa. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty and style of this property.
The landscape gardens were absolutely stunning with lush greenery and colorful flowers everywhere as well as plenty of lawn area for our Dalmatians to stretch their legs.
The pool and spa were the perfect place to unwind after a long day exploring the area. Inside the home is equally impressive. Modern and comfortable furnishings were tastefully arranged and provided the perfect balance of style and comfort. A special shout out to the gracious hosts too for their warm hospitality and recommendations.

Fantastic house. Huge, with tons of places to sit, eat, lay in the sun, relax and for the kids to play. Very welcoming. Impeccably clean.The outdoor space was amazing, an oasis. Lots of kitchen amenities - coffee machine, Keurig, espresso machine, waffle iron, the list goes on. Extremely comfortable for our family of ten with room left over. And Michael is friendly and extremely responsive.

This home offers the perks of hotel and home wrapped in one! It's as if they knew what was needed and more. I planned many outside adventures with the family, but was out voted to stay home. With so much to do....my family was so happy with the pool, gorgeous yard and toys inside of the home. Hubbie and I were especially impressed with the functionality of the kitchen and all of its kitchen equipment. We were sad to leave. Thank you Michael for being an amazing host!

The house was good enough although not as large as the pictures showed. The pool turned green so we couldn’t use it for 2 days. The pool company showed up our last day and told us this particular pool turns green often because of the phosphates. We had a late afternoon flight so we were told by the owner we could stay as late as needed to on check out day as they had no one checking in. Apparently they got a late booking at the last minute so their cleaning crew showed up while we were packing to go. The owner showed up and was very disrespectful, short-tempered and just plain rude. He asked what WE did to the pool. He was angry because he ASSUMED we would be gone. We will NOT be back to this house. We have rented a lot of places as we travel often and never have we encountered problems such as this.

My fiancé and I decided to have a small wedding while we are here in FL for a few months. We rented casa mariposa for a long weekend and it was the perfect place for the celebration. The yard is beautiful with tons of greenery and florals which made for great scenery for the ceremony. The pool was a great place for relaxing and spending time with family post-wedding. The house itself is very comfortable as well! We had a great weekend here and we were all sad when it came to an end, but made wonderful memories here!

Casa Mariposa was our own private oasis in Naples and we will 100% be returning! Our family had never been to Naples before but wanted to stay somewhere close to everything. The home is a short drive from all the great restaurants on 5th ave, and downtown beaches. They had TONS of wonderful amenities available for us, and also lots of great local tips. Our family loved playing in the pool, and hanging out in their lovely yard. Its also rather spacious and fits a good amount of people. It really did feel like our home away from home. We can't wait to go back!

We had a fantastic stay in Naples at Michael's home. The property was fantastic. This was our annual trip we take as a family - 5 adults and 4 kids and we had a blast. We did manage to get to some local beaches and activities, but truly we were happiest just hanging out at the house and enjoying the pool and jacuzzi. The house is spacious, so there's many areas to spread out into. Michael has a ton of games, bikes, etc. in the garage which was lovely. The entertainment room set up was also perfect and we were able to watch movies at night with kids very comfortably. When we did venture out, most places we were headed were only a 5 minute cab away, very convenient. Michael was also very sweet and left wine and chocolates for us. Above and beyond. :) I highly recommend his place. If we're ever back down in Naples, we'll check to see if it's available first.

Absolute perfection. Everything from the tasteful, interior decor to the beautiful, gigantic fenced in backyard to the location made our family re-union week stay a 10/10. Plus perfect pool, spa & outdoor dining area with massive deck overlooking yard. No sign of damage at all from the storm & we even went to the nearby beaches by the pier that we were grateful that had recently opened! Seriously one of the best VRBO's I've stayed at & I've stayed at a lot. Communication with Michael & Rikke was great. I would highly recommend this house!

This place has it ALL! Location, space, comfort, amenities, privacy, gorgeous yard with an abundance of amazing plants, flowers, palm and fruit trees! I can't think of anything that it was missing! The owners were very responsive to any needs or questions! I'd highly recommend it and book it again!

Great place! Well appointed with what you need. Garage/playroom was great, and the pool was clean and great temp. King BR is massive, other bedrooms were a little cramped … but still comfortable. Will consider staying there again!!

This house fit all of our needs. A great fully equipped kitchen, the lanai, the pool, large deck and the beautiful yard made our family vacation perfect for everyone. We loved that it is a gated property and there was a spotless clean attached garage with new ping pong and foosball tables and contained plenty of beach toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, even fishing poles. There is a giant sand play area in the oversized fenced in yard for little kids. The location was great because it was a short 10 minute drive to Fifth Avenue and the beach. We look forward to staying here again.

We definitely had an incredible time at Michael’s Casa Mariposa, if you think the place looks good in pictures just wait till you see it in person, it is truly the best VRBO we’ve stayed at….and we have stayed in a few! Gorgeous heated salt water pool & spa with a large deck area and easy access to over an acre of fenced in beautiful Florida yard. Very quiet, private and tucked away - yet only 5 minutes to Downtown Naples and the beaches. The contemporary house design and furnishings are amazing with a fully equipped kitchen, great room and comfortable bedrooms. Master has en-suite bathroom with soaking tub and separate access to pool area. No detail has been overlooked from this fabulous property to ensure a fabulous vacation. Communication was prompt and helpful. Highly recommend this beautiful oasis!

Stylish home in serene location close to Downtown
We had a great stay at Michael & Rikke's place! The attention to detail and style are evident everywhere in the home. The location is serene, and on over an acre of beautifully manicured gardens. A soak in the hot tub was lovely especially at sunsets and our kids really enjoyed the salt pool and games room in the garage. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked even though we didn't do any cooking - too many great restaurants on 5th Avenue & 3rd Street south! We really enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend the place to anyone visiting the area looking for a beautiful, spacious, and quiet place to stay.

As others have mentioned, the pictures really don't do this place justice! I have rented many vacation homes and several in Naples but this one is the best one by far! It is an absolutely incredible property inside & out!! Even better than the pictures. Super comfortable, modern decor inside & expansive tropically landscaped gardens outside. It’s incredibly private and tucked away in a very quiet location but still really close to 5th Avenue, 3rd Street South, The Pier and Beaches. And Rikke & Michael were great hosts!
