Booked for 5 people to to go to Goodwood festival of speed. This is over an hours drive away but the closest we could get without spending a fortune.
Lovely setting but very out of the way, be sure to bring any shopping in with you.
Extremely well equipped with plenty of linen, towels and a great kitchen.
Plenty of hot water and good pressure (a common problem in rentals i've found)
Beds comfy. clean and tidy.
Good information booklet.
BBQ available and a laundry which we didn't take advantage of but is a nice touch.
Its very out of the way, and up a single track road that has some mighty ruts and unmarks humps. low riding vehicle will struggle not to scrape.
Booking.com communication is not good, its automated through Interhome which doesn't seem to forward anything to the hosts. We had tried to inform them of a late check in but it turns out its a key safe so that wouldn't have been a problem. The keysafe combination was not sent to us in advance of arriving but luckily the host has left cards with their number on the front of the building. They were lovely, and easy to deal with on the phone. If those weren't there I'm not sure what we would have done.
We were here in July and it was incredibly hot in the cottages especially at night. Nothing the host could do about the weather but a couple of fans provided would have been extremely helpful. If the weather in the summer is to continue at these sorts of temperatures it would be a welcome and inexpensive addition. They already have provision for heating in the winter, in the south of England it only seems logical to provide some sort of cooling for the summer too.

very typical holiday let type accommodation but with some nice touches. private garden to the rear and furniture to the from. Bonus of laundry facilities too.
been a long time since I have seen a coin meter for electricity. However it was loaded with electricity so didn’t require coins to be added during our 3 night stay.

Great base for exploring the countryside
Well equipped cottage, good beds, warm and cosy even when it was storming and raining outside.
Very quiet {it is along way to the main road} lots of paths to discover the countryside around . Walking to Henfield took about 30 minutes. Or 10 minutes by car.
Great that there was a milk in the fridge and tea / coffee, as well as a chocolate cake to welcome us.
It was a difficult to find the first time.... Just keep driving down the farm track {some clearer signpost would have helped}
The was a problem with the invoice from Interhome, but as I had a confirmed price from booking.com, Interhome corrected their invoice.
