Enjoy a very western experience....

This place is very funky and old fashioned, but everything worked. And the staff were very helpful and friendly. Just keep in mind that you're pulling off the road for a place to sleep, and you'll be a happy camper.

The bed was a little soft. Actually, very soft, so we ended up sleeping more intimately than we had planned. But we slept well. Also, the walls are a little thing, and at 2am, we had to remind our neighbors of this, but they were very sweet and we never heard another peep after that.

Good value for money

Great place to stay if you're on a budget. I have to thank these guys for offering decent accommodation at a reasonable price. Not easy to find on Whidbey Island.

Pleasant

No breakfast on offer until restaurant opens.

Definitely a motel. Water was only luke warm. Only a rickety old wicker love seat with no cushion for seating. My dog didn't want to go inside, which was freaky!

Very disappointed!

Location is good and the restaurant is good. Staff was polite and helpful. We had an issue with our check-in that was between Tyee and Booking.com. The manager/owner? did take care of it...it involved being charged twice and the management did get it corrected.

Our room was very run down. Missing floor moulding in room and not repainted...looked very dirty. Bathroom floor molding was coming off and very dirty. Painted bathroom walls were not very clean looking. Comforter on bed was dirty so I grabbed the extra blanket which was also dirty. We had to ask for another one. The room had an overall run down, shabby feel. Bathroom towels were blue so you don't feel like they are bleached and clean. Possible mold in bathroom at corner of shower and door behind loose dirty floor molding. Issues with electrical outlets and phone charger plug...only one worked in the whole room. They are charging way more than they should be for such rundown accomodations.

Superb

The checkin lady was friendly and it was convenient to back right up to our door. The dogs enjoyed the room to run.

The thermostat didn't function, it was either on or off.

clean, rough around the edges, $20 more than it should be.

the location was good for my needs, the bed was comfy enough. it was clean.

the property is very dated, quite tatty around the edges. trim and doors, bathroom kind of worn. time for a redo. walls are paper thin, I could hear every word of the phone conversation in the room next to mine.

Location. Small establishment. Cute atmosphere in room. Grocery store close and onsite restaurant.

Cleaning chemical smell upon arriving. I am sensitive to breathing in chemicals and had some issues when in room at night for first two nights. Nothing to have coffee in room. Have to go to restaurant to get coffee. Water pressure is lacking. Water sort of dribbles or sprays out. Nice Kleenex holder but ours did not have a box in it.

Adequate for my purposes.

Comfortable room. Friendly motel staff. Excellent food at the restaurant.

Lots of noise from people getting back late or leaving early. Very minimal space outside to sit and enjoy the weather.

The location was within walking distance of downtown. The room was clean . I stayed a week and there was very little room service- cleaning . It is old and not too soundproof so people talking outside the room were heard as if they were inside. There was no air conditioning. It was not expensive - so I expected it to be as was.

Right location, right price, comfortable bed, clean and fairly quiet.

Affordable, near my workshop, comfortable bed, microwave and fridge very convenient for quick meals. across the street from a good grocery store.

Clean, comfortable , affordable lodging in a community where other hotels in the area charge at least double what I paid. Close to restaurants, groceries, coffee stands. Very comfortable and homey decor.Not fancy, but by no means a dive!

Wobbly room chair.Hotel is near a busy road; can be noisy. A few minor cosmetic issues. Check in at bar could've been a bit more expeditious.

Great location, close to the grocery store and walking distance to the harbour

Very poor

It was retro charming. Very clean and decor is cute. Folks very nice and helpful!

Deafening fighter jets. Paper thin walls. When the fighter jets finally stopped flying past the neighbors kept us up talking and watching TV til after midnight. Unfortunately the military maneuvers practically on top of us was unexpected and shocking.

Everything. Towels were wet when we arrived. Sat on the bed and the bed slid across the room and i almost fell to the floor. Tv didnt work, drain grate in shower was not attached and my 9 year granddaughter almost fell and cut her foot. We cancelled the second night. And told management, who said they cant refund us because we went through booking . Com. Will never go there again.

Ugh

Room was kind of cute

The bed and pillows were truly awful! It was impossible to regulate the water temperature in the shower . The water would alternate between scalding hot and freezing cold all on it's own, without touching the faucet handles.

Passable

It was close to the cemetery where we attended my Aunts graveside service yesterday.

The toilet seat was filthy good thing I carry wipes so I took care of it, the refrigerator barely kept things cold, found a hat under the bed which tells me no one cleans under it, what's up with the molding around the floor hanging off in some places and others non existent? Then at 1:30 am there was a car parked across the parking in front of the restaurant with music blasting until 3:00 am and kept me awake the whole time. We won't be coming there to stay again. Very bare bones, if that's what you need, it's fine!

They advertised as bare bones, it was exactly that. I didn't need any more than that, the location was critical for me. It is an old row of hotel rooms across the parking lot from the bar (where you check in). It was a bit noisy, but not bad. The grocery store across the street was great. My low expectations were on target. It was clean, I felt safe, it was very inexpensive compared to anything else in town, and that was all important to me.

I had to go to the bar to ask for toilet paper. Bring an extension cord (I did, and I needed it.) The room was very light from outside light.
