Staff was friendly and welcoming. View is stunning ! Super clean rooms and decorated with taste. Breakfast was very good. We tried their restaurant and was well worth it ! Available and free parking.

The feeling of being somewhere truly special and authentic. From the moment we arrived, we felt surrounded by peace and tranquillity, with the beautiful vineyards, historic paths and breathtaking views creating a wonderful sense of escaping from everyday life.
But what made our stay really memorable was the warmth of Enza and her family. Enjoying traditional food lovingly prepared by Enza, chatting and listening to the stories of the family and the history of this beautiful place made us feel much more like guests in someone’s home than simply visitors staying at an accommodation. Those little moments and conversations are what we will remember most.
We were also fascinated by the precious fifteenth-century wooden statue of San Giacomo at the entrance. Knowing the history behind it and seeing such an important piece of the area’s heritage made the property feel even more unique and special.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful brand-new bathroom decorated with lovely local tiles. And then there were the views... waking up surrounded by such beautiful scenery and ending the day watching the sunset was simply wonderful.
We left San Giacomo with lovely memories, not only of the place itself, but of the people, the stories, the food and the feeling of having experienced a little piece of authentic Amalfi coast life. ❤️
The only real difficulty we experienced was accessing the private parking. The route involves passing through two very narrow passages by the church, which are part of the protected cultural heritage of the area. We had been advised by Enza to rent a small car, but unfortunately the rental company only provided us with a medium-sized car, and getting through the passages was quite a challenge. We were constantly worried about scratching the car, so we would strongly recommend arriving with a small car if possible. Getting through those passages with our car was honestly quite nerve-racking, I had to guide my husband twice but then we left the car there and used the local bus, much easier to go to busy Amalfi.
The mattress could also be more comfortable, although this is obviously a matter of personal preference.
These are small points, though, and they certainly didn't take away from the warmth, character and special atmosphere of our stay.

Everything really, location, hospitality, cleanliness, willingness to help with great advice, very responsive. An alround pleasant and exceptional stay.
There wasn't anything not to like, other than the parking can be tricky if you have a very large vehicle.
