Located in Russell Island, this charming house for $95 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. "Russ Vegas" is a 2 bedroom waterfront home. It is located right on the beautiful Canaipa Passage on Russell Island Russell Island is nestled amongst the Southern Moreton Bay Islands just off Brisbane and is easily accessible by passenger ferry, vehicle barge or on your own boat. There is a private high water concrete boat ramp that opens up the options of exploring Moreton Bay. Or just simply fish from the front yard. The home has all the mod cons, including BBQ, Stove, Microwave, dishwasher, washing machine as well as local TV and your favourite streaming services and finished with beautiful character timber floors. Massive 48 square meter tiled deck to sit and enjoy the water views It maybe on an Island but you have all that you would need as in an IGA, Servo and a RSL and Bowls Club that have tasty meals and provide courtesy bus services Both Muddies and Sand crabs are awaiting you not to mention the prawns that run around Easter time Bedding configuration is two Queen sized beds Doonas, pillows, blankets, bath towels & tea towels are provided BRING YOUR OWN Queen Sheets & Pillow Cases Minimum two night stay. Long Weekends three night minimum Easter four night minimum Christmas seven night minimum Rates are from $135.00 per night (2 night minimum) Please note as the property is waterfront it is not fully fenced. Sorry due to previous issues with pets we can no longer allow them to stay.

The place was very clean and tidy on arrival. Has absolutely everything u need for ur stay other then the food u eat. Great location and very quiet. My family and I had a fantastic time and will definitely stay again and again. Great friendly communication with the host. All and all a fantastic place to stay on the island.

We came over to Russell Island from Tasmania for a wedding held at the local nursery this beautiful water front home was perfect close to the local IGA, pool, chemist, hair dresser and sea link ferry. Over all a ten out of ten and we will be back. Thank you to the owner for having us.

This compact, beautifully appointed home, felt so roomy and had everything we needed for our stay on the island. We enjoyed the ever changing view of the life on the water from both inside the house as well as on the spacious deck. And brekky in the sun on the deck was a morning delight. We will definitely be returning when we next come to Russell!

Photos are accurate of the house. Host was great to deal with & its close to Rsl & conveniently not too far from the central local shops & easy drive to car ferry barge also. Would recommend & book again. Very clean & well presented. Comfortable beds & well organised with large fridge. We tossed up between 3 properties to stay at & was glad we choose Russ Vegas. Loved the location on the water. Our only suggestions would be that a couple folding chairs are a good idea to have & be able to use on the front patio to sit there & also use on the back water side grass area to help n use when u r fishing from back water area along with small fishing table or some other outdoor furniture at the water grassed area would hav bn helpful & awesome also. Thanks xx (don’t forget it’s byo linen here)

Excellent location on the water. Dugong and turtles put on a great show on the ebbing tide. Star gazing at night was awesome. Friendly locals and taxi service was very convenient.

It really is a lovely place…ideal for dropping your tinny/kayak off your own boat ramp, fishing off the rear lawn and the views of the water and North Stradbroke amazing. So quiet you can hear the quiet…. Apart from when the neighbours kicked off….twice during our stay (we were only there 4 nights) and the shouting and swearing was downright disgusting. Not a place to take your young ones or easily offended family members! Also while the house was clean enough, the windows and blinds could do with a good clean and dust ( I live by the water so know that the dirt had built up a while) and perhaps ask your cleaner to include the ceiling fans in her routine.

The house and owners communication were great but the Stayz app was horrible. First I booked dates, then paid, then app said dates not available but didn't give me any option of alternitive dates or a refund. So I chose 3 earlier days, then told one of them not available. I couldn't contact owner because still no number to set up app, I kept waiting for a code number to arrive (36 hours) so I could install the app. Managed to contact owner n confirm days only via our own emails (third night already booked) so only got 2 nights. Finally got confirmation whilst on the ferry to the house n then read that I was supposed to take my own linen!! Thanks for nothing Stayz.

It was neat and tidy but still has some character. We arrived in the night and were wowed by the amazing view in the morning. If you are into boating or fishing this place is ideal! There is also a concrete path all the way into ‘town’ which would be a great ride, probably a little too far to walk.

We had a lovely few days at Louise's property, she has thought of everything! The views are amazing and the deck is the perfect spot to sit, catch up with family, and enjoy the serenity. Would definitely recommend for a quiet get away. Dont forget your bedding !!
