The view was absolutely breathtaking! The facilities were huge & clean. The windows made for great lighting. I also appreciated having a full length mirror! They even left us snacks and fresh produce. The owners & staff were SO HOSPITABLE!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here! The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. We really enjoyed the beautiful coastal view from our patio-the sunset was absolutely breathtaking. The kitchenette had everything we needed, including cooking essentials and breakfast goodies that were replenished daily. There’s also a great restaurant, La Strada, just a short walk away. The hotel staff were incredibly nice and helpful. When a road closure caused by a mountain fire made it difficult for our taxi driver to get there, the hotel owner Pina kindly offered us a ride to the closest point where we could meet our driver. We really appreciated it.

Praiano is an authentic centrally located town on the Amalfi Coast, offering easy access to the coastal attractions without the crowds of Positano and Amalfi. Our room had a balcony with a beautiful ocean view of Positano (best way to see it) and breathtaking sunsets. The kitchen was fully stocked with an assortment of breakfast items, including a delicious tart. Praiano offers an array of restaurant options (before making reservations, ask the hosts for their recommendations). Just a few doors down the main road is La Strada which is excellent and also has views - we liked it so much we ate there again. Boat tours to Capri are offered at the Praiano port. If you enjoy hiking, one of the access trails to the famous Path of the gods, Via San Guiseppe, begins at the entryway for the deluxe double room. (This trail goes past Convento San Domenico and is marked as "hard" on AllTrails, but it is no more difficult than climbing the stairs up to the accommodations - and the trail has beautiful views.) We took this trail and the Path of gods to Positano and then walked along the road on the way back (you could opt to take the bus back too). Another beautiful and accessible trail in the area is the Ferriere Valley trail. Free parking is available in a lot above the bus stop at Pogerola (arrive early) with an easy and beautiful trail to the town of Amalfi. We took the bus back to Pogerola from the Amalfi coast. Download the app for the Amalfi bus service in advance to see the schedule and purchase tickets. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hosts were very responsive to all questions and needs. A wonderful stay at Residence Lì Galli!

As many travelers noted, the steep climb to the room can be tiring after a long day, but we quickly adjusted. At the end of the climb you can look forward to relaxing with a glass of wine and beautiful views from a large balcony. When you arrive and depart the hosts will ferry the luggage up and back down with the luggage lift.
