The gentleman on the front desk was very nice and friendly. The backyard is quaint and cozy and has a nice little creek running on the back of the property; however, the creek is full of debris (plastic containers and bags, etc.), which is real pity. The owner or management should do something about it, like periodic clean up, it shouldn’t be that difficult to do.
The hotel property is right next to a relatively busy highway and I was given a room in front of the building, which is about 20 feet from the highway (even when I asked for one on the back). Needless to say, I could hear cars and many trucks run by throughout the night and much more in the early morning, starting at 6am. I really couldn’t get a good night sleep, this was disappointing… specially given that the Dilijan area hotel prices are double to hotels in other areas (i.e., Gyumri, Vanadzor, etc.) and they provide better quality accommodations.
