The cottage is very clean and well equipped. The 2 bedrooms were spacious with large, comfortable beds. We enjoyed the hot tub, which is clean and well maintained. There was everything we needed for our short stay. Buxton is a short Uber ride away, where there are places of interest and bars and restaurants.

Lovely 3 night stay to explore Buxton and surrounding areas of the Peak District.
Our traveling highlights included hikes off of Snake Pass and up Mam Tor, walking through Pooles Cavern in Buxton and the country park, learning so much history and visiting the aquarium in Matlock Bath which was originally thermal baths.
The Peak district has so much to offer and we couldn't have asked for a better base! From fresh scones and a bottle of wine on arrival, to being able to relax in the hot tub after our long walks. It really was such a clean and homely cottage equipped with everything we needed. If you book, you won't be disappointed.
