Jo was a lovely host, and we really appreciated the welcome pack of milk, biscuits, tea/ coffee and sugar. You have all you need and more, as it is home from home. Washing up liquid, tea towels, toilet roll... those things you often end up having to buy were all plentiful and the house is kitted out with high-quality utensils. Despite being called Smallcroft, we all had plenty of space.

De ligging was perfect, rustig gelegen en kort bij het strand en prive parking aanwezig, ruime tuin, er mocht wel wat meer aandacht aan de beplanting gegeven worden, nu was deze dor. Ruime woning met 3 kamers, goede douche. Ruime zithoek.
Een tip: maak een map met alle info over de woning, de omgeving, toeristische activiteiten enz. Dat is handig voor je gasten.
Communicatie! Op booking stond kinderstoel en kinderbed maar die had men niet. Pech dus voor onze peuter. Mevrouw beweerde dat Booking dat zelf er op zet. Ik kreeg 8 mails na de boeking maar geen enkele respons op onze mails. Blijkbaar waren die ook niet gelezen.
Misschien ook iets meer handdoeken voor 1 week. We gebruiken thuis ook meer dan 1 per week.

Cottage was clean, comfortable, well equipped and a short walk to beach. Large back garden with plenty of seating.
We booked and paid for a Saturday to Saturday, but 2 weeks later Sykes rang us and told us that the cottage was not available on the Friday! So had to cut short our holiday by a day. It took a further 2 weeks and several phone calls/e-mails to obtain the refund
