Comfortable and quiet.

Coffee, tea, hot water and dishes were available, but you have to put your own food in the fridge. Supervisor, an Arab Muslin was helpful. Tourism has been hit badly by Iron Sword.

It's just off a main road, hence traffic noise and flickering lights at night, but they weren't too bad. Finding the place was a bit of a challenge. It's nondescript and just off a street corner. An exterior photo and a very detailed map would help. The base of my backpack got soaked after I left it on the floor. I suspect Israeli cleaning method (flood and squeegee) was to blame.

Estube en PoliHosts en mayo. Tuve que cancelar mi llegada a Tel Aviv el 16/10/2023 por las circunstancias... No quise cancelar la reserva porque me pareció impróprio, en esos momentos tan duros, pedir la devolución del importe. Me llamaron por telefono y muy amablemente me dijeron que puedo volver a hospedarme cuando "todo eso" termine. Sí, cuando vuelva a Tel Aviv, volveré a PoliHosts Old Jaffa! * * * * * הייתי ב- PoliHosts במאי. נאלצתי לבטל את הגעתי לתל אביב בתאריך 16/10/2023 עקב נסיבות... לא רציתי לבטל את ההזמנה כי זה נראה לא מתאים, ברגעים קשים כל כך, לבקש החזר על הסכום. הם התקשרו אליי בטלפון ואמרו לי באדיבות שאוכל להישאר שוב כש"כל זה" ייגמר. כן, כשאחזור לתל אביב אחזור ל- PoliHosts Old Jaff! * * * * * I was at PoliHosts in May. I had to cancel my arrival in Tel Aviv on 10/16/2023 due to circumstances... I did not want to cancel the reservation because it seemed inappropriate, in those difficult moments, to ask for a refund of the amount. They called me and very kindly told me that I can stay again when "all that" is over. Yes, when I return to Tel Aviv, I will return to PoliHosts OldJaffa!

Great location in old Jaffa right by the port and flea market, 3 mins walk to the beach..The beds were the best beds I've slept on in a hostel! Kitchen, tea and coffee provided and a lounge to chilll out in, the whole place has a very homely feel and I'll definitely come back!

Outstanding stay and met more than my expectations.

The Host was a Lovely man who really made your stay very hospitable. Lovely cosey hostel with very nice people staying from all over the world. The tea and coffee and water machine, complimentary went down a treat. The shower was spacious and the shower was powerful and clean. Excellent location and very good value for money. A perfect great stay in a lovely warm, clean hostel. Facilities for cooking and utensils were excellent. Lovely ambiance with television and nicer music to chill to. It was so nice this stay that i am booking to stay here again next month.

Very good location in old town. Decent bed and pillow.

Only one toilet and shower in the whole place, if the place is full there will be a bit of a queue. Kitchen area also quite small.

the hostel is placed in a very nice area in old Jaffa

there was no staff around when I arrived to advise me a bed and clean bed sheets. the rooms are quite small and to many beds, there are no windows and it stink. quite disgusting.

A convenient and enjoyable base for our short stay

While not everything was perfect in the facility, it had character, and we were advised that it was not manned, owneres and workers were around enough and pretty friendly. It was also quite cheap so we got value for the money.

The fan in the room broke down meaning that the air got a bit stale for a while but the staff got the airconditioning. Cooking is in a shared facility and some were not so good at cleaning up after themselves. The owner did do a good job fixing things up early in the morning. Some fittings like door handles were low qualtiy but adeqaute

please dont go , choose a better hostel for a bit more

so the location is the only Good thing

dirty, one shower for 20 guests, very very small rooms without windows. very humid and smelly. the guy who “ works” ( or lives?) there sleeps in one of the beds in room A between travellers ( Yes also in daytime). he cooks his meals and back to bed all day . bit strange. also Its all not locked everyone can just walk in and take any bed for free. Its more like a homeless shelter than a hostel . but I just paid 19 euro so maybe Its normal.

too expensive, dirty

location

dirty, running ants, no window(s) and no fresh air, bad smell, dirty bedsheets, netflix didn’t function, toilet and shower were dirty. No towels at first, had to ask for it. The room doors didn’t provide silence - sounds in the hall were like in the room. Someone trashed the “number two” thing all over the toilet in the evening and it wasn’t cleaned till morning. The room was pretty small. The ancient wall is covered with a cheap plastic.

Not very clean, needs maintenance, no keys for room- dormitory door not locked. Did not feel very secure. Bed was not clean from previous guest. Reception arguing with guest in common area

Great location, Great Staff, Great value for money

PoliHosts is in a fantastic location. 5 min walk to old city in Jaffa. 5 min walk to beach and marina. And the small side street is quiet. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. The wifi was very good. It has a beautiful stone rock ceiling. Quite amazing. There are only 2 rooms of dorms so not crowded and friendly. Has cooking facilities and even free coffee. For me everything was good and great value for money in expensive area. Recommend to all .
