Location. The house and how friendly and attentive Rupert was. Took considerable time to explain not only the history of the house but where were good places to visit. Breakfast good and Dash very friendly

There was lots of history to discover. It was very quiet.
Some problems with internet access. Would have liked a room with en-suite but Rupert and Karine went out of their way to put us in a room that had easy access to a Bathroom. Thank you.

Distance from the town but not a big deal

The house was very central for exploring the beaches, Giants Causeway and easy to get to from the airport. It was spotlessly clean, quiet, comfortable with large rooms. Breakfast was delicious and the owners couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly.

The breakfast was delicious and the host affable and entertaining. The house inside was like a National Trust property with charming period furniture but also very modern shower and bathroom. The other residents were also delightful.
The front door was a bit difficult to open when locked. The property is a bit difficult to find and at the end of a long driveway.

The location was exactly where we needed it to be, also close for visits to the causeway coast and other local attractions. The setting in the middle of the countryside and the tranquility of the location made it very enjoyable. The dog (dash) and the cat were the stars of the show. Rupert and Karine were great hosts who are very friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed our conversations.

The shower
The long muddy drive way is full of horrendous pot holes and having rented a car this was a extreme worry.
The bedroom completely smelt of mould and damp
The breakfast was cold
The shared bathrooms are absolutely full of mould
The room was cold

Karine and Rupert are exceptionally kind hosts making their guests feeling very welcome, always ready with helpful advice and extra hospitality
The historic country house is a very interesting building on its own, with spacious and tidy rooms, perfectly located for trips to all highlights in Northern Ireland
Excellent Irish breakfast and splendid supply for making your own tea or coffee in the room, tranquil surrounding but close to plentiful restaurants etc
Our daughter enjoyed the animals strolling nearby the house… We all really loved the stay and will certainly be repeat guests next time we are in Ireland!

The quiet setting. The house is steeped in family history. We loved the old well kept interiors. It was like walking back in time. With the paintings and various items all around. The Irish Breakfast is a great top up for the day. The owners are 5***** Very helpful in giving information about the area. There grounds are lovely to walk round. Just down the drive to the right is the old dairy. A big paddock with some lovely ponies and a donkeys. And a gorgeous foal. And very placid animals. Give it a look. We will definitely be going back. We came as guests and left as friends. Keep up the good work. T&A. 👌👌

If you like something different a little off the beaten track this is for you.A lovely old estate with wonderful hosts in Rupert and Karine. The building is a bit like a history lesson with great charm of times past-I got the impression that there might even be a resident ghost wandering around!
I particularly liked the idea of all guests having breakfast at one big table in the dining room.
I look forward to returning soon!
Nothing to dislike.

Peaceful location. Welcoming fire. Friendly helpful hosts. Ballymoney is a great little town. We hired a car from practical car and van hire. They picked us up from the station and will do airport pickups. The 30 min walk back to O'Harabrook after a scrumny dinner at the Holestone was lovely.
We could have stayed longer!

Exceptional B&B. On a chilly rainy afternoon, we were welcomed by the hosts and a cozy fire in the downstairs fireplace. Our room was large, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was wonderful in an amazing dining room. The hosts were most gracious and had excellent recommendations regarding restaurants and sightseeing.

Rupert and Karine are the perfect hosts, warm, welcoming, chatty and went above and beyond to anticipate our needs and make our stay as comfortable as possible.
The breakfast was delicious, rooms were spotless and the location was a perfect base to explore the Causeway Coast.
Only a slight technical hitch with our shower but we were given an excellent replacement.

The beautiful O'Harabrook Country House and its extensive grounds, offered peace, tranquility and a welcomed opportunity to relax. We absolutely loved learning about the unique family history which made our stay a more enriching experience. Rupert also showed us many fascinating family heirlooms. We really enjoyed meeting the family pets and animals on the estate which we had not anticipated. Karine even sorted us out with wellies so that we could explore the grounds and let my granddaughter collect freshly laid eggs. Thanks to our hosts, Rupert and Karine, my granddaughter and I had a truly unique wonderful experience which we shall cherish forever.
