Located in Vilano Beach, this charming house for $165 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Come and escape to the Florida sun and beaches at Paradise Retreat! This completely renovated home is only a few minute's walk to the beach with access to miles of tranquil, quiet stretches of beautiful sand, abundant sea seashells and a fantastic blue ocean. It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, perfect for bike riding and evening walks under the stars. Paradise Retreat is your peaceful getaway only minutes to everything Vilano Beach and historic Saint Augustine has to offer. Beautifully renovated in 2015, no expense was spared making this true to its name, Paradise Retreat. Everything in this 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom townhouse has been replaced and updated. All brand new appliances, bedding and furniture throughout as well. Outside you will find a very private, fully fenced backyard for your enjoyment. It includes a large deck, table with four chairs, stainless steel grill, relaxing swing for two, and extensive, tropical landscaping. Beautiful live oak trees canopy the backyard with lot of shade and just the right amount of sun. In the background you can hear the sound of the waves crashing at the beach perfect for relaxing times outdoor. The large screened lanai has a round table with lots of room for breakfast or games. Inside, you will find a equally beautiful oasis. Upstairs it is a large private Master Bedroom Suite with vaulted ceilings, luxurious queen size bed and bedding, abundant natural light, and spa like Master Bathroom. This suite also includes a 42" LCD HD flat-screen TV, ceiling fan, skylight, large master closet, tiled walk-in master shower, and granite countertops along with high-end, Kohler fixtures and soft linens. You will be so relaxed after your amazing-night's sleep listening to the ocean sounds all ready for your day at the beach, golfing a the numerous nearby golf courses or exploring Saint Augustine's history. Downstairs is another large bedroom with twin beds, large closet, vaulted ceilings, ceiling fan, and lots of natural light. The downstairs bathroom includes a large tile shower, all new upgraded fixtures and granite countertops, line closet and easy access. The property was clean and in a nice neighborhood. The backyard was our favorite part. Very relaxing and peaceful. Bed was comfortable and everything was exactly as described. Communication was fast and easy. Would definitely stay here again

The condo was nice and clean. Whenever I had a question the owner was quick to respond. St. Aug is a beautiful place and this condo is close to everything. I would definitely rent again if I am in the area.

Perfect!
This is a wonderful home and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The owners were very responsive and helpful and the property itself was absolutely ideal. Everything we could have possibly needed was there and even included some thoughtful additions that you don't always get like a beach cart, boogie boards, towels, and other niceties. The owners have also done a tremendous job furnishing and decorating the home, and it has a very warm and inviting feel. The neighborhood is very quiet and located close enough to the beach (just a pleasant 5-10 minute walk) but still far enough off the beaten path. We simply did not want to leave, and look forward to returning soon! Thank you Inga for letting us enjoy your wonderful property!

Completely enjoyed the rental, plenty of space for two adult couples. everything was just as advertised, was a little nervous about walks to beach but turned out to be completely fine, sunrise was the best!

Best 16th Birthday
We were looking for something close to the beach but also close to St. Augustine. It was the perfect location! Quiet location, near public beach access and close enough to visit family in St. Augustine. Inside has been remodeled with nice decor. Would recommend this place if your looking for a quick trip or a longer stay. We had a great time!

I know this is picky , dead batteries in the TV remote and no cable, I like watching local news in the morning and night when out of town, the TV was run thru Apps , and trying to figure out how to use 2 remotes and figure out apps with remoted with dead or very weak batteries is frustrating

We will definitely be back time and time again. We loved that we close to everything but secluded.
This was absolutely one of our top 5 properties that we have stayed at. Inga was amazing and always responds quickly. Our favorite part was how close we was to everything but we was also away from all the hustle and busyness. The house is just as it was explained and the pictures don’t do it justice. We are already talking about our next trip and hoping we can get our older 3 to join us.

Paradise Retreat
We had a wonderful vacation at this property. The home was exactly as listed, so tastefully decorated and comfortable and in close proximity to the beach (walking distance), shopping and tourist attractions. The owners are lovely people and always a phone call or text message away which was very comforting. We hope to return again.

We enjoyed our stay at Paradise Retreat, the house is just as the photos, furnishings and decor are great and it was spotlessly clean.
Everything is there that you need for a relaxing holiday , including beach chairs, towels and umbrellas.
A short drive to St Augustine where there are lots to see and do . We enjoyed Anastasia State Park and beach.
Inga kept in touch to make sure all was ok , which it was, and to see if we needed anything.
We would definitely recommend it , it felt like a home from home.

Great place for family vacation
We enjoyed our stay. The condo was neat and clean. The host accommodated all our needs including ordering beach umbrellas, extra night stay with discount and late check out time.

Great Little Find
We traveled down for Spring Break weekend with our 4 year old and 1 year old. We always try to find a place that has 2 bedrooms to accommodate the children. We searched VRBO with this listing popping up and decided we'd give it a try. We found the location to be a perfect in so many ways. It was just outside of the hustle and bustle of the downtown life and just around the corner from the beach. We read a few reviews that talked about the neighborhood, but we are glad it didn't lead us away. Yes, the community seems a bit older, but once you step foot into the door, it's like a brand new home. The furnishings, the decor, and the atmosphere inside the unit was great. The price was very reasonable and the owners went the extra mile to make sure we had everything to make our trip great. We would absolutely revisit the unit in the future and will definitely recommend the unit to family and friends. Thank you Inga & Gil for allowing us to enjoy your property! The Renje Family

Comfortable place with everything we needed.
This condo is nicely decorated, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils, which we used nearly every day. Although it's one of 6 units, the back yard is very private and a gas grill was available for our use. Parking was never an issue. It's a short drive into the city of St. Augustine, where we spent many days sight-seeing and taking in history tours. There are several area beaches within minutes, and we spent some time there as well. This was a nice place to call home for our week in the area.

We had a most enjoyable le visit. It is located in a quiet neighborhood just a few miles north of St Augustine. Very quick drive to town or avoid parking issues in town and use LYFT. Very close to the beach, some good restaurants, and Publix. The owners are friendly, helpful, and quick to respond if called with questions or issues. Would stay there again if we return to the area.

Paradise Retreat was the perfect for my little family to stay during our weekend trip!
It is close to the beach and downtown St. Augustine. This home is cozy and makes you feel at home. The fenced backyard was perfect for our little dog. Inga and Gil were quick to respond when a issue occurred! We hope to visit again in the future!

Relaxing Beach Retreat close to everything!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Paradise Retreat! Spotlessly clean, updated property, comfortable, peaceful neighborhood with all the comforts of home including a fenced in yard for our dog which she loved. The house had everything we needed and then some.. nice extras like beach chairs, a cooler to store your cold drinks for those sunny days on the beach, a grille in the back yard which we took advantage of several nights and a biggie for me was the washer and dryer. We also loved the closed in seating area outside to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and enjoy the nightly breeze. The property is perfectly located close to great restaurants and only a 10 minute ride to downtown Saint Augustine. We really enjoyed our stay and will be returning. The owners were amazing and always available to answer any questions. Thank you Inga and Gil for an amazing stay at Paradise Retreat!

This is a really great place to stay
My two sons and I were in town for the Players' Cup at Sawgrass Golf Club. While there, we also took advantage of touring historic St. Augustine and visiting the beaches. I also rented a bike and rode about 20 miles one afternoon. We especially enjoyed the Haunted Pub Tour on Friday night with Ray, an amazing storyteller.
The kitchen is really great. It is very well equipped and a fun place to prepare meals. The grill out back was great too. We used it several times.
I really liked The Publix Store just down the street. The service and selection was really great for stocking up on groceries.
The washer/dryer and iron/ironing board came in handy, as did the dishwasher. We used all these things numerous times and felt right at home.
Also there were a lot of good books to read and games to play. My son and I enjoyed a rousing game of Yahtzee!
I would have liked a blender, too, in order to make blender drinks. Inga said she would get one for me when I come back! She actually offered to bring me one during my stay but I didn't want to inconvenience her.
Everything was clean and in great condition. The chair and foot rest by the back door was a really comfortable place to read and watch movies. The internet made it easy for us to keep in touch with the outside world.
We ate at The Reefs for lunch the day we arrived and we would not recommend that. We looked at Caps and would have liked to eat there but we ran out of time unfortunately!
The one downside of this place is that the neighborhood is a little sketchy. Not that we felt unsafe but it wasn't as upscale as some of the other neighborhoods where we have rented through VRBO. But once you step foot inside this place, it was magnificent.
Inga was really responsive and caring, too. I always felt that she was there for me if I needed anything and that she really cares about providing a beautiful and comfortable home for her guests.
I will definitely plan to return because this place was so nice and because we really liked St. Augustine a lot!

"Above and Beyond"
We had such a wonderful and relaxing time at Paradise Retreat! It was above and beyond our expectations for a family beach vacation. Our kids were thrilled with the property and nearby beach! This area of beach is very tranquil and so nice, and the kids were amazed at all of the beautiful shells they discovered daily, along with unexpected dolphin sightings. The property is immaculate with modern decor and amenities. The owners were so great to work with, and answered all of our questions very quickly. They also went above and beyond to accomodate our family's needs to ensure that we all had an amazing stay. I cannot say enough good things about our visit to St. Augustine and our stay at Paradise Retreat! The only difficulty we experienced was when we had to say goodbye to this beautiful area! It was very hard to leave Paradise Retreat and head back north. Thank you for a refreshing, rejuvenating stay. We will always remember this superb vacation!
