DATES & PRICES: For most snow-season dates this website only lets us enter valid prices for 2nights arrive Friday or 5nights arrive Sunday. For other stays please click on "Ask Manager a Question" and we at Ski Kaos will get back to you with accurate prices. PRICING NOTE: This website has added roughly 10% to Ski Kaos' normal prices. Their system removes contact details from messages we send to each other via this website. They don't want us communicating efficiently unless you book & pay first. HIRE DISCOUNTS: We offer discounts on ski/snowboard hire and clothing hire. BUS TRAVEL: On select dates during the snow season we also offer Sydney to Thredbo return bus travel (via Jindabyne & Skitube), please ask for details if interested or lookup Ski Kaos on line. ABOUT THIS PROPERTY: A state of the art apartment with picturesque views of the mountain from your private balcony. This apartment is mid-range to luxurious accommodation for groups of friends or large families. Wi-Fi and Netflix included. LOCATION: The apartment is perfectly positioned in the centre of the village with a host of restaurants, bars and shops on your doorstep. From Mowamba, it is only a 3 min walk to the main ski lift terminal, 6 mins to Friday Flats, or walk just 40metres to the bus stop (the free shuttle bus goes in circles every 2-5 mins, and the ride is ~2mins to Friday Flats). FACILITIES: This apartment features a cosy living area with flat-screen TV, DVD, and CD/stereo. The brand-new kitchen is fully equipped and includes all kitchenware, crockery and cutlery. Appliances include: fridge, electric stove/oven/grill, microwave and dishwasher. The apartment has two bathrooms, both with shower (no bathtub). There is a separate laundry with two-in-one WM+CD & laundry tub. Each bedroom & the living room has an electric wall panel heater and there is underfloor heating in the main bathroom and dining area. BEDS & BEDROOMS: BEDROOM#1: Queen bed + ensuite; BEDROOM#2: Queen bed (can be two singles); BEDROOM#3: Queen bed (can be two singles); BEDROOM#4/LOFT: 2 or 3 singles. NOTE: Made up beds & towels are included & cost extra if you do not wish to BYO – please check with us. If its BYO then it means 2 sheets per bed, a pillowcase and towel each, bathmats and tea towels. We always provide doonas, pillows, mattress protectors. You can opt to pay extra for made up beds & towels 35 per queen 25 per single. PARKING: There is a parking space for one car nearby. EXTRA PARKING: Extra cars can be parked in Thredbo's huge long term carparks. You can unload at the property then move your car(s). You can get the free shuttle bus back (the carpark is only 400 metres away from where you are staying). Few people ever need to use their car once they have arrived. SECURITY BOND: Before check in we require a $500 security bond - this is usually a credit card pre-authorisation (not a charge). Its possible to do this via VRBO(Stayz) but they will charge your card and then later refund it which is not the right way to do it. ================================================== SNOW-SEASON ACCOMMODATION DATES: The full 2023 snow season runs from 10th June – 2nd October the first night being Fri 9th June ACCOMMODATION DAYS OF THE WEEK: --- The best value days of the week to book for are always for 5-nights arriving on any Sunday. --- Weekends Fri+Sat nights are pricey by comparison. --- We can rarely offer a Sat arrival or departure. --- Staying only 1-night is almost as much as staying 2-nights AS A ROUGH GUIDE: --- CHEAPEST DATES: June 9-22, Sep 10-Oct 2 --- NEXT BEST VALUE: June 23- 29, Aug 27 - Sep 3 --- HIGHER DATES: July 17-28, Aug 20-26 --- PEAK SEASON: July 28-Aug 20 --- HIGHEST PRICES: June 30 - July 16, and most August Weekends

The property is in an ideal spot to stay if you are skiing and wanting to take advantage of the restaurants and bars in the village. The balcony and master have beautiful views of the mountain and are the best spot in the village to watch the fireworks. The house itself is fairly small and cozy but that is to be expected of anywhere you stay in Thredbo.

The apartment was a great base to explore Thredbo. There was two kids in our party so being in the heart of everything made things so much easier.

We arrived and the appt had not been cleaned. Contacted the agent to advise who offered cleaners to come in during our stay but withh all our belongings there we declined and did it ourselves. Called the againt again when we were unable to lock the back door. We were told that ot doesnt lock but its safe because its on a balcony. Didnt make us feel safe at all.

Nice & tidy apartment, close to village centre. However, it was rather cramped for 7 adults; each sleeping in a single bed.

We stayed at the Pulpo Granny Flat in Thredbo. As expected it was small and clean with a great sauna. Located around 150m away from the Village terminal, it was a convenient place to crash while on a snow weekend. Bruce and Theo were easy to communicate with and provide clear instructions on how to get there and how to use everything in the flat. Only comment is that overnight parking is scarce and when we arrived at 1am, there was no parking to be found.

The apartment was perfect for our group stay! We loved being able to walk 2 minutes up the hill and pop onto a ski run! Plus, the bus stop was only a couple of houses up from the apartment so it was convenient to catch a bus into town and back! The heated floors were an extra bonus. We would love to stay again soon!

This property was so lovley had everything we needed. Close walking distance to slopes, bars and village. Plenty of room for all 7 of us and the views from the balcony are amazing!! The photos rely don't do this property justice the 70s charm is adorable!
