The location was great. It was clean and cozy. They offered free coffee and tea. Checking in was easy
The price was high for a 2 star hotel. But it may be due to the time we were there.

Able to sit out the grounds and enjoy the view and just relax
The fact that there was no elevator to the second floor. It would have been nice to have had some sort of breakfast for the price of the stay

Small and Maria was delightful. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The location was perfect. The Elk in the front was an added unexpected joy.
Not even a plate for a muffin in the morning. There were utensils but no plates. That was disappointing.
