It’s a lovely house, which was put together with intention and eye for details. Filip and Nigel are super forthcoming and lovely, always happy to help making plans for the day and providing recommendations. There are a few very good restaurant options close by, which is super convenient. We can highly recommend staying at the Palazzo.

My experience at Palazzo Sbutega was exceptional from the start. I was greeted by Philip and his girlfriend and they immediately made me feel at home. They made reservations for me at a favourite, local restaurant (which instantly became a regular spot for myself and every guest!).
The hotel is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. My room was beautiful and spacious. The living areas are welcoming and the communal breakfast area is exactly as they described - you feel like one, big family staying at a friend’s vacation home. The food is healthy and local and Philip makes the best scrambled eggs! I am not a coffee drinker, but every day I heard people rave about Nigel’s coffee.
I met Nigel my first evening there and he was beyond welcoming. During my entire stay, he made sure to help with all of my plans that I had booked. I went on his boat a few times and they were very special. I was able to really take in all of the beauty of the bay.
Palazzo Sbutega’s location cannot be beat. I would recommend balancing all of your plans with some time relaxing by the water, swimming and paddle boarding.

It was like being welcomed into a friend’s home, Nigel and Filip couldn’t have been better hosts. The house was beautiful and excellently decorated with a fabulous pool. All guests sit around the breakfast table which is wonderfully prepared. We absolutely loved it! Miss it already.
