Sit on the balcony and soak up the view

After staying in big resorts and hotels it was nice to arrive here. We loved that the room had a balcony and we spent many hours relaxing and looking out to the view. The staff were super friendly and the bed comfortable. Although we didn't make use of them, they seem to have a good selection of dive courses so check those out before deciding to go with other operators as some of them are not good.

It was hard to find out what services they offered at Emoha prior to arrival which made it hard to plan. We would have loved to had received a house manual containing information about food services offered, tours and diving service offered etc, and things to do in the area. The staff were friendly however not always forth coming with information.

Atemberaubender Ort und sehr herzliches Personal

Ich bin sehr froh dieses tolle Resort gefunden zu haben. Lottie und ihr Team sind einfach super. Das Resort ist durch die wenige Anzahl an Zimmern super ruhig, privat und familiär. Ich hatte ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss mit tollem Meerblick. Ja es gibt keinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer aber dadurch ist es einfach super entspannend und ruhig. Im Notfall gibt es immer Möglichkeiten Dinge kalt zu stellen. Das Frühstück und auch das Abendessen waren super. Das Servicepersonal ist stets aufmerksam und freundlich. Ich kann jedem empfehlen den Discovery Dive in Resort zu machen. Es war das erste mal Tauchen für mich und es war ein atemberaubendes Erlebnis. Mein Divemaster Ron war stets auf Sicherheit bedacht und hat mir das schöne Riff direkt vor dem Resort gezeigt (inklusive Besuch einer Meeresschildkröte). Zudem ist es von dem Resort mit dem Roller „nur“ 1,5 Stunden zu den Kawasan Wasserfällen wo ich eine Canyoneering Tour gemacht habe. Im Großen und Ganzen ist dieser Ort einfach perfekt zum entspannen, Schnorcheln und weitere Abenteuer auf der Insel zu erleben. Anreise ist über Dumaguete Airport mit anschließender 20min Fährfahrt sehr zu empfehlen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder in das Resort kommen wenn ich Cebu besuche. Ich danke Lottie und ihrem gesamten Team für diesen wunderschönen Aufenthalt.

Ich habe nichts vermisst.

Schönes Resort in familiärer Atmosphäre

Das Resort ist wunderschön, leider hatten wir bei unserem Aufenthalt nicht so Glück mit dem Wetter. Ein Roller kann direkt bei der Unterkunft geliehen werden, was praktisch ist. Allerdings war dieser doppelt so teuer wie bei unserem Hotel in Badian. Das Essen ist frisch und lecker, alle Mitarbeitenden und vor allem Lottie sind super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Mit Ron hatten wir sehr viel Spaß bei unseren Tauchgängen!

Die Spicy Noodle Suppe war zwar sehr lecker aber mir ist direkt aufgefallen, dass es sich hierbei zumindest bei der Basis um eine Instant Ramensuppe (vermutlich Shin Ramyun) handelt.

a dream !

everything !!! such an amazing property, I’m impress by details and super clean everyday. food was sooooo goood ! I miss it already ! honestly paradise and owners/chef/staff where lovely I hope I come back. also Antonio the diver master such an inspiration for his wishes to help the environment in his hometown. he is one of a kind. pillows and bed where very comfortable as well.

Great place !

Amazing boutique hotel ! Very beautiful quiet place with spacious area, very clean room furnished with taste and big balcony right in front of the sea. It's not a regular, but it's a beautiful designed resort. Good choice of ingredients for the kitchen like organic vegetables also most of the basics for the restaurant are homemade, impressive how they put a lot of work in this. Small details make a big difference. Very fair to low prices for food, wine, and activities in this beautiful place. Jean Michele and Lettie are really kind and helpful host. They work with their staff all the time, so it gives you a feeling of safety - thinks are properly done. For me, it's a paradise where you can learn to dive, snorkelling, or just relax. Around the resort, you will find a lot to do and see. We went to waterfalls and dive with whaleshark this time. Make a booking in advance in order to have a good plan for diving and other activities.

This hotel is a great option for those looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The owners are incredibly attentive and make sure guests are well taken care of. They also offer diving tours for the experienced divers and newbies. Try Discovery Dive and you will not regret if you have never dived before. The rooms are clean and recently renovated, and the food is delicious, even for those who aren't typically fans of Asian cuisine like me. I am so picky but I loved my dinners in the hotel. The hotel is also conveniently located near some beautiful waterfalls, which are just a 30-minute drive away.

Mosquitoes :) I forgot to bring the repellent, better to have it.

Home from home stay with sea views and delicious food!

Lottie and Jean-Michel were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure that we had an enjoyable stay. A huge thank you, for providing us with delicious home cooked meals ( and catering for my not so easy dietary requirements). If you're looking for a friendly, home from home base from which to explore the sea and waterfalls, I couldn't recommend Emoha more highly!

Our stay felt comfortable and relaxing.

The resort itself was small but the design of the space felt very personalized and curated. Although small in size, there are different areas where you can relax. The host was very kind and welcoming. The food was delicious as well.

Excellent resort for snorkelling and diving.

owners were very welcoming and breakfast was phenomenal. The private coral reef for snorkelling was amazing with tons of interesting sea creatures. Ambience was relaxing. Would definitely make multiple returns.

gorgeous property! The moment we walked down the stairs to the property we both said wow, and continue to feel very happy to be there the entire stay. Two days was not enough. It is a small six room facility, and the grounds are fairly small, but perfectly planned so that its size feels convenient and cozy rather than feeling too small.

beautiful spot for family holidays

The room was spacious and very well designed, including little details like hangers for wet bathing suits. Garden, restaurant and pool are also carefully designed and beautifully kept. There is an amazing coral reef just in front of the hotel. Food was excellent. We really enjoyed our time in Emoha.

best experience in Cebu, I was sad to leave

wonderful architecture, a gorgeous piscine and the owner is a diving expert so he can bring you to some spots with his own boat the is perfect honestly the best place in Cebu I do recommend it to everyone, singles, couple and families

i would absolute recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a beautiful,quiet stay!

the owners were so lovely! they made use feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough for us. the property was stunning, clean and the views were incredible. it was lovely and peaceful - a nice alternative to Cebu city!

Fantastic!

We spent 2 months at EMOHA during the Covid-19 crisis and enjoyed every moment! Very good food, great views, perfect snorkeling spot/scuba diving site and fantastic people! The resort is beautiful in every detail and eco-friendly. Lottie and Jean-Michel are terrific and always willing to offer a helping hand. We are certainly planning to go back!
