it is supposed to be a 4 star property and we had booked 2 grand suites for our stay - however the hotel didn’t even provide basic amenities - say any tissues in the room, slippers, vanity toiletries, q-tips/cotton et al. For over rs 17,000/night/suite charge and all this not provided by a 4-star hotel - it is utter cheating and ruins the Sun-n-Sand brand. hot water wasn’t available as required. and the reason sighted for all this pain was that we booked grand suite and not junior suite - both are housed in different buildings. why is the same not mentioned on booking page categorically? inform the customer and let the customer make an informed decision of taking up grand suite or junior suite - in an informed manner. by default a grand suite sounds better than a junior suite unless explained! also, had a nightmare when we ordered food in their checkers restaurant where the menu mentioned wheat based dish and they served maida based - best still they continued to say this is how they serve it!! why is is mentioned in the menu differently? the issues go on where they don’t explain any procedure say for new years gala participation OR on requesting ironing set up - showed up with only the iron (that too burnt) without the iron stand!

1. Driver off shuttle drove off while my mother was still getting into vehicle, my mum injured her leg and arm in this incident. 2. We booked 2 rooms, the toilet flush plate was broken in my parents' room, so my parents had to come to my room to use the toilet. 3. We tipped the staff an average of 100 rupees as we do, usually in Mumbai. The staff then wouldn't leave the room as they wanted more money, which was very uncomfortable.
