It’s a shame because I’d like to rate this place higher. It has a huge garden with a nice seated area which could look insane with abit more up keep. Theres a nice seating area with footy memorabilia. The beds are comfortable and clean. Overall I liked it and would stay again it’s just such a shame because the hostel and garden wi the a little TLC could rival any hostel in the area.
Except for upstairs, the shower and toilet only have a curtain for privacy, no door. When arriving I wasn’t told which bed I could go in, I had to ask the cleaner which bed I could go in - I had the choice of downstairs which had a functioning air con but was dark and small or upstairs which was better but no air con just fans so the room was boiling.

It’s so close to everything, the man in charge is so sweet and knowledgeable, ready to send you any information needed. There are clothes here if needed for hiking etc, places to keep your bags when gone, breakfast included, drinking water from the taps that’s from the mountain, they even had homemade jam made from the garden to eat! You can rent bikes also and there’s a very cosy garden, living room and kitchen to chill in when here. 24hr shop also just 2 minutes away! Also the rooms are significantly cheaper than most places around here.

Host was thorough, helpful and gave proper instructions as well opportunities for excursions. Location was good and the room was big for the price. Breakfast was made every morning. Good hostel

AC did not work and it was very hot during the night, the Austrian staff was very grumpy and I do not think he should be in a people facing business
