About this cabin rental
Nestled in Laurelville, this attractive cabin for $370 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Beautiful family cabin surrounded by a white pine grove that sleeps up to 8 people with 3 queen beds-- one on the main and lower level, and 1 queen bed and 1 bunk bed in the loft. Well appointed, fully-equipped kitchen and a cozy gas-burning fireplace in the spacious living room. There's also a rec room downstairs with a pool table to enjoy. After grilling out on the huge wrap-around deck with the propane grill, enjoy the beautiful surroundings a new, relaxing hot tub on the covered deck. Maybe even enjoy a roaring campfire at the outdoor fire ring. To make your stay worry-free, all linens and towels are provided. All you need to bring are your personal items and food for a great time! Please note, to enjoy the beautiful outdoors in all it's glory, there is no Internet so as not to distract you from the beautiful Hocking Hills surroundings!

My family had a great time in the Merlot. We had deer in the backyard every morning. An owl watching us in the hot tub, and got to enjoy a wonderful getaway inside a warm, clean cabin.

We rented the cabin for the Thanksgiving weekend for our family celebration.
Location is good, although a little close to the road.
Cabin was clean, comfortable and decorated very nicely.
The pool table and video games in the basement is a nice addition.
We enjoyed the cabin very much.

We love the cabin and all the details of it! So close to Hocking Hills. We loved the porch and hot tub.
Only thing missing was a short pool stick. Hope to return!

Perfect place for a girls getaway! We enjoyed hiking at Old Mans Cave and Rock House and some R & R with a cozy fire in the fireplace. After our hikes we got in the hot tub, and got out feeling relaxed and pampered!
The 3 levels gave us all our own space when we wanted to chill out and have some alone time to unwind. We will definitely come back here - it was my favorite HH cabin and I have been coming for more than 20 years!

Loved the little cabin in the woods feeling. There was plenty of room and we didn’t feel crowded, and there were even dvds there so we had a movie night. It’s a great place to stay.

Hot tub was a great way to end the night after all our exploring with the kids. Definitely will stay again as there is so much to do in the area.

We had a great time at the Merlot! We were constantly seeing all kinds of critters around the property- deer, frogs, butterflies and all kinds of birds. Beautiful area and beautiful home! Very clean and hospitable.

We had a nice weekend at the Merlot Cabin with family. The house was as specified in the listing so we knew what to expect. The small issues we had were not knowing how to operate the fireplace since the remote's display didn't seem to be functioning properly, and there was a pretty strong sulpher smell from the water, even the filtered water from the fridge. Some of the outlets at the house were also not very helpful since they were covered with faceplates that blocked part of the plug and prevented some plugs going in. We enjoyed the backyard fire ring and my daughter was happy with the playground.

We had lots to do not only on the property but close by. The only part was that the tv in the bedroom on the first floor went out. And according to my granddaughters the tv on the top floor wouldn’t work. Another thing is no wifi we had to go off the property to make and receive calls

If my wife or one of her friends had an emergency at home, there is no way to reach them. They do have a landline, but you need some sort of code to be able to call long distance. Communication with the property manager was very pleasant and professional. They really enjoyed their stay, it was a girls weekend. I believe I would have to think hard about staying again, just because of the the lack of wifi, or cell service.

If we could give this property 10 stars we would. The home is absolutely beautiful! We felt like we were at home. It’s well taken care of, has great amenities, and very well stocked with the essentials. The location is perfect and easily accessible to all the caves and Hocking Hills State Park. The owners were excellent with communicating and very responsive to anything we needed. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stayed. We definitely will be back!!

If we could give this property 10 stars we would. The home is absolutely beautiful! We felt like we were at home. It’s well taken care of, has great amenities, and very well stocked with the essentials. The location is perfect and easily accessible to all the caves and Hocking Hills State Park. Our family stayed thanksgiving weekend at your beautiful log home. The grounds were stunning and the amenities were perfect. The home was located to so many different trails and with the fire pit and hot tub, it was absolutely fabulous! Thanks for a wonderful weekend!!

This cabin is perfection - well built, impeccably appointed, close to the highway yet secluded, fully equipped with everything one could possibly need and extremely clean. Everything worked. We had a fantastic time.

The Merlot cabin was perfect for our family weekend. Beautifully furnished. Kitchen was well stocked. Game room in the basement was terrific. Fire pit was a nice addition. Wraparound deck was lovely. The online pictures don’t do it justice. Would definitely book again. Highly recommend.

Great vacation house in Hocking Hills
We had a great time at the Merlot. The weather was a bit of a hindrance but with games, a pool table and a hot tub we still had a great time. We were able to do a bit of hiking as so many of the trails were close by that when there was a break in the rain, we could easily get to a location to squeeze a hike in. Beautiful house that is immaculate. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our time at this location. Very clean and well maintained. They had a fully equipped kitchen and even provided facial tissue, plenty of paper towels and lots of bath towels and hot tub towels. There were even condiments in the fridge. Large yard for outside games and the wrap around porch with the furniture was awesome. My only complaint was the noise from the highway near by.
