Located in Sunny Isles Beach, this lovely condo for $167 per night is a great option for your next break. PLEASE NOTE: This property charges a $30.00 per day (plus tax - $33.90) resort fee, due upon arrival. It includes beach chairs, beach towels, access to the pool, incoming faxes, voicemail, local calls and fitness center. There are plenty of resort amenities to enjoy at this resort property situated beachfront in the heart of Sunny Isles–North Miami Beach, FL. This cozy and charming one bedroom city view suite features a queen bed in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room area. There is also a microwave and mini-fridge. Please note that this suite does not have a balcony or a kitchen; however, there is a restaurant and a breakfast café on site. The resort is directly on the beach featuring lounge chairs and tiki huts. Beach chairs and towels are included. The onsite amenities include Lobby Café, Coconuts poolside bar & grill, day spa, fitness center, pool, kiddie pool, playground (currently inaccessible), towel service, scheduled activities, mini market, Valet parking (fee), concierge, laundry facility (fee), complimentary local calls, and ice vending machines. UPDATE - Effective Aug. 11, 2023 The Pool, Pool deck and Coconut Bar & Grill is now open. Pool hours are from Sunrise to Sunset. Please note, Newport Beachside is still under renovation and amenities and services may be discontinued to facilitate the progress of the renovation project. The kid's playground will still be inaccessible during this time. Guests will have direct access to the beautiful beach to soak up the sun through a designated walkway. Resort will continue to offer all amazing beach amenities for your unforgettable getaway (subject to change at any time). Can baggage be stored at the resort? - Yes, the bellman will be happy to store your bags. Can you store larger items, like bicycles? - No. Can you receive and hold packages for guests? Any limitations? - Packages can be held for 24 hours at no cost. There is a charge $3.00 per package per day after the first day, if the package is over 5lbs, the charge goes up to $5.00 per package per day per package. After 14 days the package will be returned to the sender. Please have packages marked with your name, "Hold for Guest Arrival” + date of arrival in the address box. Identification will be required for pick-up. What languages are spoken at the resort? - English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Danish and Russian. PARKING: - Yes, onsite parking is available by Valet only - Valet parking $30 plus tax/per day (unlimited in and out privileges) RESORT FEE: - The resort fee is $30 plus tax/per day. Due at check-in - Includes access to the pool, beach chairs and towels, incoming faxes, voicemail, local calls, and fitness center usage. SMOKING: - All of the rooms in the resort are smoke-free. - There designated smoking areas on property. PET POLICY: Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort does accept pets (dogs) no larger than 40 lbs. There is a $100 non-refundable fee (per pet). Room damages found after departure may result in additional charge. LAUNDRY - There is a guest laundry facility on property. The washer costs $1.50 and the dryer costs $1.00. ACCESSIBILITY: Can accessibility requests be made when booking? - Yes, you can make requests when booking. - The resort is ADA compliant. - We have accessible guest rooms available upon request. ROLL AWAY BEDS - Roll Away beds are available for a daily charge of $35 payable to the resort. Please note, we do not accept liability for any inconveniences beyond our control including but not limited to temporary defects or outage of utilities, closures of resort amenities, or limitation of any other service. RRI will not provide refunds, reimbursements, or compensation for inconvenience or interruption utilities, resort amenities, or any other service.

We had no hot water during our stay. The maintenance man tried telling us it’s because the temperature outside wasn’t hot enough. What a bunch of crap.

We were semi happy with the hotel.
We would have liked a balcony. And they only provide one towel per person so if you want to put a towel on chair you only have same towel to dry. When I left we incurred inaccurate extra 1400 dollars on invalid charges

The a/c hardly worked and the noise from every room (above/below/next door) was very noticeable. The electronic key door never worked and needed to be changed on a daily basis. The pool area is aged and dirty. The staff looks tired or overworked with terrible manners and rude. Stay away from this property!! The pictures do not reflect the reality!!!

We enjoyed the location and property. The only issue were the restaurants on site very expensive. The outside bar was super fun to sit at and the servers were on the beach which was great. The room needed work done to it. There wasn’t any coffee to be found before 8:00 without going out of the building. There wasn’t plates or silverware in the room like the sign stated. Overall the place was very over priced for what you got.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and we loved it!
We loved it! The room was clean and updated. The lobby to the hotel was very cool and they had a nice pool with a playground right on the beach. The whole time we just kept saying it would be nice to bring our boys here. Another plus was the pier that was free to walk on due to our staying at the hotel. The restaurant on it was very nice and just a cool place to eat. The only downside is the parking, this is all of Miami, but they have a valet service for$25 a day and was well worth it. Overall we loved it!

Very clean looking resort with all the amenities you could possibly ask for. Large pool with tiki bar. Steps from a beautiful beach with beach chairs provided. Fishing pier with restraunt steps from the resort. Stayed at the resort for 4 days and had a really great time. Great overall experience!!!

not my favorite
Definitely not our favorite beach hotel. The rooms are really small for more than 2 people and despite the partition between the two "rooms" -- there is no sound proofing, this is only a visual barrier between them. With more than 2 people in each room, there is also no place for luggage. The setup is kind of clever with the folding doors, but the rooms are too tiny to accomodate the furniture -- you cannot access the sink without standing on the couch to turn the faucet on. Rooms were somewhat updated, but the rest of the hotel was very dated and appeared in disrepair -- broken elevators, banged up walls, odorous carpet in the hallways etc. The pool was extremely crowded on the weekend and the resort effectively does no policing to ensure people are not walking in off the street or beach to use the pool. The pool was filled with people who were not staying at the resort and made the pool area feel very rowdy and not family friendly. The pool area also was dated and not as clean it could have been. Towels provided were threadbare. The beach area was fairly clean, but the cabanas are also broken and in disrepair. The beach in front of the pool was fairly crowded, though you could walk a 100 yards in either direction and find more space. The hotel could also be noisy and had poor sound proofing. Elevators were slow and it was typical to wait 10 minutes for an elevator; the lobby was insanely crowded at nearly all times. Check in was delayed for many guests, though not for us. This is not because of staff effort -- all the staff were hardworking and the general manager was always on property, inquiring to guests about their stay. The property owners need to put $$$ into maintenance and updates and provide for more staff to maintain security in the pool area.
Pros: Nice staff, hardworking people. Lots of good ethnic dining in the area. Beach is large. 4 nice playgrounds in walking distance.
Cons: Outdated hotel, poor maintenance, very crowded when booked at capacity, rooms were quite small, hotel is located on extremely busy road and lacks "vacation" feel. Pool area was not clean and the pool itself needs maintenance. Hot tub appears to be a health hazard. Wi-fi did not work our entire stay -- this was evident as people could only use wi-fi in hotel lobby.
We would not stay here again. For the sake of the hard working employees and general manager, I hope owners do updates and maintenance.

Overall Good
The area is great, lots to walk to for restaurants and shops. Right on the beach. Hotel lobby and pool/hot tub are clean and nice. The Kitchen 305 restaurant in the hotel is very good, service there was also good. The front desk staff was very polite/professional. The rooms as a whole are average, needs to be updated but this didn't bother us as were weren't there for the room. The beach was closed during the week d/t construction and spreading sand along the beach from the aftermath of the hurricane. After letting Chris know this he got back w/ me quickly and I was comped my daily $25 resort fees for the days the beach was closed and they upgraded us to a different room. I was happy overall with our stay.

Great location, great views, nice beach and pool, restaurants within walking distance.... It was a pretty good place. They are pretty light on the housekeeping quality as far as cleaning goes, but it wasn't a big deal for me. The Concierge was great and so we're the bartenders. Diverse group of regular people stayed there so it wasn't full of yuppies, which was nice.

Nice and clean
Spent 4 nights, one of them Labor Day. We tend to be critical as we travel a lot but have to say we loved our suite. Clean resort, nice and updated, polite staff, very responsive. Beach nice and clean, clear water. They bring you and set up beach chairs for you and you have plenty of towels. Clean pool and kiddie pool. Bar with good food poolside. Perfect for family vacation or couples getaway. Pleasant even on Labor Day (did not feel crowded). Nothing negative to say, service was excellent. Liked the Kitchen305 restaurant and the Pier restaurant (and staff) although neither is cheap. Liked room service breakfast. Not too touristy. We loved everything about the resort and so did our toddler. Will stay again if opportunity arises.

Everything was great
The resort seemed recently remodeled. The suite was new and also very clean. Cold AC. The pool and spa was new. Excellent location. Lots to do at this little gem. This resort has a private beach "guest only". Water sports on location: jet ski, kayak and stand up paddle board. The resort also has a recently remodeled pier, with fishing allowed. The pier also has a restaurant/bar. The food was so good, this is where we ate most of our meals. Clean beach and excellent service. I would love to stay here again.

Great for crashing overnight
Although the hotel lobby was exactly as shown on site, the room were outdated, no hot water in the bathroom, sleeping bed was very uncomfortable plus access to balcony was difficult. In addition to the to this the AC was minimal.
