Check in was super easy and the rental had everything we needed! Close to all the things we wanted to do in the area without the crazy prices. Would definitely stay again in area.

Michelle's property was very neat, clean and comfortable. I recommend her property to anyone looking for a good place to stay if visiting the catskills. I can't praise Michelle enough for the way she made my wife and I feel at home.

The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Michelle was very responsive by text after I had checked in. As others have mentioned, there is a slight sulfur smell to the water. I took the advice from an earlier review and brought several gallons of water from home. There were plenty of smaller bottles of drinking water available but I'm trying to not use so many throw away plastic bottles. There is also some road noise but it wasn't too bothersome. Overall, a great place. I'd stay again.

Michelle was very prompt in getting back to us regarding our stay and staying in contact with us should we need anything. The property and rental were both clean and quiet and we will be back for sure.

The setting for this squeaky clean apartment is very quiet and pastoral, a lovely place to sit on the deck and enjoy a glass of coffee or wine (bring mosquito deterrent!). The apartment is full of light, the mattress very comfortable and sheets great as well. It’s located very conveniently to both Catskill and Hudson, where we wanted to do some sightseeing. That said, there are some things to be considered: * it is a one bedroom/one bath apartment, not two bedroom/2 baths as indicated in the ad * Although the apartment is modern and the fixtures are new, not everything works. The fan and light above the stove don’t work, one of the sliding doors to a closet comes off it’s hinges very easily, the dishwasher is shown in the pictures but isn’t hooked up yet (creditably, the dishwasher is not mentioned among the apartment’s amenities but is clearly seen in the pictures). * The kitchen counters are very nice but they are not bolted to the lower cabinets, so the side panel bulges out. * The water has a good deal of sulphur in it. The hosts provide lots of bottled water, but you may need more during your stay. * There were no instructions on how to operate the cable tv. * There were no instructions on how to operate the heat or the air conditioner. * The kitchen sink needs a drain plug. Perhaps these things would not bother everyone, but it is frustrating to deal with these issues. When on vacation, we are looking to de-stress, not to figure out how to compensate for things not working within the apartment. This place has lots of potential if the owners correct these details - it could be made very pleasant, the yard is lovely, and kudos to the housekeeper, it’s very clean.

It was my first getaway with my boyfriend and we had the most amazing time. Everything was perfect! Such a beautiful house a with great views! Definitely will book another weekend! Michelle was super helpful from start to finish always checking in. Also gave us a bunch of things to do which was great! I highly recommend staying here ! You will be very satisfied with your stay.

The listing states 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was a 1 bedroom, 1 bath 600 square foot studio with mini frig. We were beyond disappointed. I called the owner and she was unaware it was advertised that way, I then called VRBO and explained and asked for explanation, compensation. None given said it was on owner. I called Michelle back and explained what they said. We are also VRBO owners and I have never had an issue. As of today , 9/30/20 the description remains inaccurate. Thought it should be corrected and resolved. Michelle was very nice on the phone and the unit was clean, but we signed up and paid for a very different listing.

Michelle’s home is lovely, clean, and offers a comfortable and quiet stay just beyond a quaint town. Plenty of space outdoors, a barbecue, a fire pit, and amazing view of the stars! It’s a quick trip by car or foot to the town center, and a beautiful 40 minute drive to multiple trailheads for hiking.

Easy to find, rural feel, clean premises. Would certainly come back.

Extremely satisfied

Michelle and James were the perfect hosts who accommodated me for 13 weeks during my nursing assignment. Michelle would text me or I would text her as if we were old friends. If I needed anything she would quickly get it for me. I was very comfortable and felt completely safe. It was definitely home away from home that was sparkling clean and smelled fresh every new week I entered the door!!! I was a bit sad when my assignment ended and I closed the door behind me. Thanks Michelle, James and Mia!!!

Lovely rural location in a one room apartment with its own entrance, attached to a larger house. Very good communication with the hosts. Recommended.

Property was neat and clean, bed comfortable, facilities attractive. Only wish the internet had actually worked, especially given the poor cell phone reception (expected). Also directions for the AC would have been welcome. And (especially with seniors in mind) either stripping or a mat in the bathtub would have been welcome. All in all, though, a very pleasant experience and would recommend it.
