La villa équipée et propre (à part quelques cafards mais ca reste une ile), la vue sur la plage, la plage juste en bas de la maison (30 secondes), le calme
Nous n'avons pas vu le staff du sejour, la réception était fermée, c'est une tres gentille femme de menage qui nous a accueilli.
On pouvait quand meme toujours trouver quelqu'un pour regler des petits soucis (souci wifi, la clim froide et bruyante, coupure de courant a cause de la pluie).
Le restaurant de l'hotel est ouvert que le week end, il y a deux petits shops à plus de 20 min à pied.
De plus, quand on commandait des taxis, ils n'étaient pas tres fiables, long à repondre, on a du faire du stop.
Personne pour aider pour booker les excursions non plus. On a pu trouver cette agence : https://exumawatersports.com/
En gros, super spot (village / plage privée) mais il faut prevoir à l'avance (les trajets, excursions, nourriture). On a eu aussi des mouches de sables qui nous ont valu des centaines de boutons pendant une semaine mais ca arrive sur les plages tropicales :(
On a aussi vu un requin rodé au bord!

Clean. Safe. Plenty of clean towels. Coffee maker in room (but no coffee or mugs). AC works well. Full cable TV. Very, very friendly owner/staff.
Location is remote - you absolutely need a car. On-site restaurant is only open for lunch & food is tolerable (all fried). You need to drive 10+ minutes to get to another restaurant for breakfast or dinner. Beach is not cleaned by staff (so full of seaweed & driftwood) & hardly gets any sun. No amenities provided other than a bar of soap. WiFi doesn’t work in rooms & is only available at the restaurant during open lunch hours (about 12-4). This place has potential - is clean & safe, but hasn’t quite figured out how to deliver efficient, discreet service with local charm (like their competitors at Paradise Bay, La Fourchette & Big Ds Conch Spot have). They still operate on friendly but very disorganized / inefficient “island time”. I was never checked in, I thought I might be in the wrong place for the first few hours. I didn’t get a key to my room until I asked 4 times. But at the same time, a friend staying with the owner drove me to the store to get water & made me breakfast one day...so they were super friendly, I was just looking for something a bit more service-oriented & relaxing...while still being off the beaten path. If that’s what you want, it looks like Paradise Bay up the road has that nailed.
