Nestled in Woodway, this charming house for $254 per night is a great option for your next trip. Welcome to JoyHouse in Waco, Texas! I am so excited to share this special get away with you. It is perfect place to stay for family gatherings, Baylor events, weddings, girls' weekend, or a romantic get away. There a so many fun things to do in Waco and surrounding areas. This house has been a labor of love and is a true gem after its fixer-upper journey. This 3 bedroom home is nestled on a quiet street with charm both inside and out. Enjoy the updates and beauty of JoyHouse, whether gathered around the farm table, cozied up by the fireplace, playing games at the vintage game table, or relaxing under the cafe lights in the private, fenced yard. JoyHouse sleeps 6 comfortably with one queen bed in private master suite. Enjoy an additional queen bed in a second bedroom. The third bedroom features two twin beds. Additional air mattresses also available. There are also portable cribs available. Gather around a large table in the kitchen, perfect for making memories. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need during your stay, including a dual coffee maker, toaster, slow cooker, pot/pans, utensils, and all you would need to enjoy a bottle of wine (or 2,3 or 4) etc. Linens, towels, shampoo, soap, hair dryers, toilet tissue and paper towels are all provided. There is internet and three TVs for your enjoyment. The living room, twin room and master suite are all equipped with smart TVs. There is outdoor seating under cafe lights in the fenced private backyard. There is ample parking in the double driveway and attached garage. Event rate varies. No pet fee WITH approval! (Dogs and/or small animals in cages permitted. For allergy reasons, no cats please.) City of Waco License Number: STR0000238-02-2020 Maximum 8 adults, of which no more than 4 individuals unrelated by blood, marriage or adoption CANCELLATION POLICY- 100% refund with cancellation more than 30 days of stay 50% refund with cancellation more than 14 days of stay 0% refund within 14 days of visit (however, $200 damage deposit will be returned)

What a beautiful little home in Waco. It was comfortable, adorably decorated farmhouse-style, and conveniently located. It’s a very safe and quiet neighborhood, the host had Wine in the fridge for us, and it’s very close to the attractions in Waco.
It was also super easy to communicate with our host, Gayla. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a great visit with our family. My nephew graduated from Midway High School and the house was very close to Panther Stadium. His graduation party and all other events were also very close. The house was all that it was advertised to be. Great location.

It was an oasis!!
It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and absolutely beautiful!
Gayla thought of everything from a diffuser, to extra plugs near the bed, to a welcome book that included places to eat and things to do.
The neighborhood was great for walking. The neighbors are so friendly.
It was only a very short drive to the Silos and gave a retreat feeling to come “home” to!

It’s so nice to stay in a house so we’ll furnished, even to the most minute detail. The beds are comfortable, the WiFi works great, bottle of champagne waiting upon arrival. We bring our little dog, who enjoys the fenced in backyard with decorative lighting in the trees. The location is near many good restaurants, as well. Each time we come to Waco, we hope the Joy House is available.

Everything about the home was great. Easy check in process and good communication from host. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, nice bath towels, toiletries, outdoor furniture underneath a large shade tree, the list goes on. We appreciated the basket of snacks that were left for us. We are a retired couple wanting a short vacation within a days drive of central Kansas. We chose Waco not knowing what to expect. The
Joy house met our needs perfectly. A very friendly host, great house in a quiet neighborhood, and a fenced in backyard for our pet Yorkie.
We didn't know a lot about Waco and were surprised about the available attractions. Magnolia of course, but Dr. Pepper museum, Texas Ranger
Hall of Fame, nice zoo, and Homestead Heritage were all worth the stop.

We loved our stay at Joy House! Everything was just as described and Gayla was wonderful to work with. We could tell that she takes a lot of pride in her property and making her guests happy! We very much enjoyed the snacks and wine she left for us, and the sweet hand written note! The Christmas tree was also a cozy touch!
This weekend girls trip was a birthday gift for our mom, and we made the best memories! If ever back in Waco, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Joy House!

This was our second stay at Joy House. It is perfect for us. The neighborhood is quiet and tidy. The home is exceptionally clean and has everything we need. It is in a perfect location for us to visit family. We very much enjoyed the Cotton Belt Trail that is pretty closed to the home. We will be staying again.

Many of the typical Waco hotels were fully booked for move-in weekend at Baylor. I was traveling on business and decided to try this home as an alternate option. It was a great choice. Everything was as advertised and it was a wonderful stay.

The JoyHouse was wonderful and perfect for 4 adults and one infant. The home is open concept, beautifully decorated and offered everything we needed plus some special touches which included a bottle of wine and snacks upon arrival. With the hot Texas weather, it was refreshing to come back to this home with air conditioning. It was located in a nice neighborhood and about 15 minutes to the Magnolia silos. We would highly recommend this home for a stay in Waco.

The experience is top-notch with great communication with the host, spotlessly clean home all the amenities one could need or want. Joy House was perfect for our visit to Waco. The home was clean and very well stocked. We enjoyed the home, backyard and quiet neighbourhood. It is in the perfect location for our trip to visit family. The owner was helpful and very quick to respond to our questions. We will stay here again.
