A very enjoyable stay, close to town and diving.

Location is great. Menu selection is good. I had an exceptional American breakfast. Far better than what I purchased in town. Helpful people. Liked that scooters were available on site and in good condition. Internet was 5G so exceptional. Whenever I went out I returned to a clean room where even my clothes were neatly folded. Special mention to a lady that gave me massages every night. No cramps and very professional - much like my physiotherapist back home.

The track in which is shared by several sites needs to be graded. Best described as a goat track. There is talk of an upgrade.

Restaurante excelente e com uma excelente vista. Staff bastante simpático e um ambiente tranquilo longe da confusão do centro de Moalboal. No alojamento também conseguem organizar as tours e aluguer de mota

Muito pouca pressão na água do banho. Roupa da cama com dimensões desapropriadas tanto que mal nos conseguíamos cobrir. Ar condicionado ruidoso

Beautiful place but the staff made us feel uncomfortable

The resort’s location is great: calm environment and beautiful view over the sea & Negros island. Nice king bed, good wifi.

Sadly, our stay turned out to be disappointing. 1) The staff & management were rude to us and tried accusing us of various things; a defective scooter that we wanted to rent, wrong orders at the restaurant etc. That created a weird atmosphere and because of that, we couldn’t really enjoy our stay there nor our moments at the restaurant. 2) the water pressure in the shower was close to non-existent, we could not shower properly and had to use cold water in a bucket. It’s not representative of the standing that the place is trying to have. 3) sad but as expected, they added random charges on our tab at the end—that they accepted to remove after we highlighted them.

Excellent choice! Amazing staff

For us, it was excellent. Really friendly staff, great facilities, nice food at the restaurant. Cheap scooters available, all new and helmet provided. They also assisted us in organising our tours.

You will need a scooter or a taxi/tricycle every time you want to go out to the city.

Avoid this place!

В плане оборудования и обустройства территории всё очень хорошо, номера чистые, кондиционер тихий, территория потрясающая, завтраки лучше, чем можно себе представить.

С учётом недостатков, оценка, которую я поставил завышена, на самом деле 3/10 - самое то для этого места. 1. Первое и самое ужасное. На территории бесконтрольно бродит невоспитанная собака - овчарка, которая считает всех гостей этого "резорта" нарушителями и облаивает каждого, кто ходит по территории резорта. Это недопустимо и честно говоря, я был на грани требовать возврата средств т.к. это возмутительное хамство и наглость со стороны собственника этого места. В соседних номерах люди даже боялись выйти из домика, только открывали дверь, шавка начинала лаять, это позор собственнику! 2. Подъезд к резорту по ухабам и камням, дороги нет! 3. Пляжа тоже нет, камни и грязь. Никогда туда не вернусь и никому не советую.

Отличное место для спокойного отдыха

Отличное место для тихого и спокойного отдыха, без шумных улиц и большого количества людей. Находится по середине между White beach и Panagsama beach, где располагаются все кафе/бары/рестораны. На трицикле доехать всего за 5-10 минут, можно дойти и пешком минут за 20-30. У резорта своя достаточно просторная чистая территория, ухоженный газон, есть свой небольшой, но ухоженный пляж со входом в море. Можно попробовать снорклинг прямо там, можно встретить черепах, если заплыть немного подальше, то уже начинается большая глубина и там можно увидеть разных рыб, морские звезды, красивые кораллы. В ресторане достаточно вкусно готовят, порции большие. И по умеренным ценам (обед или ужин обходились около 1000 песо для двоих человек). Если вы едете с детьми, то детям будет где поиграть на территории резорта (есть чистый газон и чистый пляж). Возле берега глубина небольшая, дети могут там плавать, но нужно смотреть, т.к. на дне могут попадаться морские ежы. Очень приветливый и дружелюбный персонал. А также там есть классная и добрая собака, немецкая овчарка - Рекс :-) и еще одна маленькая собачка, очень игривая и смешная :-) В общем, отличное место для тихого семейного отдыха, с приятной атмосферой и уютной обстановкой вокруг. Обязательно вернёмся ещё раз!

У нас в номере немного скрипела кровать. И не работал пульт от телевизора.

A quiet and relaxing place to stay. Recommended for people not keen to move/explore around.

The rooms and surroundings are clean and well-maintained. They have a variety of options for food/meal. It's a little bit pricey but tastes good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The location is quite secluded and the road access to the property had a very bad surface quality making the journey in and out of the property very uncomfortable and undesirable.

The location on the beach was lovely, especially with the views and the seating area on the outcrop. The free breakfast was a welcome surprise, the staff were very helpful and the room was clean. The scooter hire onsite is a must if you want to explore Moalboal and the wider area

The room could do with some blackout curtains due to the morning sun if you like to sleep in!

A blissful paradise

Tauig were accommodating and provided vegan options at breakfast for me. The views and sunset were beautiful - we especially liked the little hut where we could sit, read and relax. There was plenty of places for us to sit in our room and on the veranda

The track up to the hotel was extremely bumpy, and our stay was quite a way from the main town, so you have to stay organised and book tuktuks in advance.

A wonderful and relaxing stay with a dedicated and helpful staff.

we stayed during the may summer of 2023 and loved the location. Quite and calm and a good way to relax. Great destination and location for those seeking some good rest and relaxation. and for a party or many restaurants and bars, you’re just a scooter or tricycle ride away. Amazing sunset view! The facilities were very nice. The reef and a nice bar are right outside your door. The location was comfortable and convenient.

The staff and environment were a bit off and could be improved. At times, the location felt as though we were at a swingers party. The staff was a bit pushy about booking tours that seemed overpriced.

The view to the beach in the morning whilst having breakfast is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is really good.

The road to get there is a bit bumpy but quite short so not an issue.

we quickly felt like home and we were sad to go! when we come back to Moalboal, we’ll definitely stay here again.

Exceptional

We really enjoyed the stay. The resort is very beautiful and the staff very nice and helpful. At the bar/restaurant (with a geat view) they offer anything you like to eat and drink (also dinner and cocktails, beer etc). The breakfast was really amazing! We liked the snorkeling on the reef. We rented a scooter to go into Panagsama beach and back. The room was also great and the bed's really comfortable. There is also a patio with two chairs Infront of the room. Very good internet connection.

It was a bit secluded, so we wished to be at the Panagsama beach in the evening (2,5km away). Don't go to the white beach-there is nothing to see there and too hot to stay on the sandy beach... Water in the bathroom had a low pressure, like everywhere in Philippines.

Large rooms with excellent food

Easily, the best thing about this hotel is the kitchen staff. Food is amazing.

Rooms only cleaned on request. Location is quite isolated with nothing to see or do within walking distance.

Absolutely perfect

Such a beautiful place! Lovely, well maintained grounds overlooking the crystal clear water. The rooms are almost brand new and are very spacious with a comfy bed. The restaurant overlooked the water and the food and service was fantastic. A private beach with sun beds was the perfect way to soak up the sun and enjoy the tranquility. We highly recommend this resort!

We loved everything about it. It is a little bit away from the main area of Moalboal but we specifically chose it because of that. A 5 minute scooter ride is all it takes if you want to go to other bars, restaurants and the dive shops.

Amazing location, spotless all throughout and even had the friendliest most gentle German Shepherd that loved a cuddle.

the road exiting the hotel, this is of no fault of the hotel however so no points can be taken away from them.

Heavenly, quiet and romantic place. A small hotel for adults with soulful hospitality. The best staff and a friendly owner. Comfortable rooms with everything you need. Fast internet. Well-groomed, closed territory. Beautiful reef with fish, turtles and other marine life. Incredible nature! In reality it is better than in the photo. Fresh delicious food and drinks are in a bar. Ideal location between White Beach and Panagsama Beach. You can rent a scooter and take excursion in the hotel. We want to come back here again and again!

The toilet was leaking in our room. But it's easy to fix.

Tauig Beach Resort is a beautiful, peaceful and quit place with private beach. There is a restaurant for very tasty breakfast and diner with a view. The staff is very kind and helpful and can book trips for you such as Canyoneering. They advised us also to go to Bohol from Oslob so we didn't have to go back to Cebu city. One night, we planned to have diner in Panagsama but we chanced our minds, and although the restaurant was already closed they opened again and cooked diner for us! Which was very kind. Great place!
