Very clean with decent sized rooms and a wide menu of buffet-style breakfast. Ate a couple of times at the pool side bar, the food is ok. There is a good value for money spa and a small gym. Plenty of dinner options
The hotel is somewhat constrained on the beach, but the surrounding view Is spectacular. Unfortunately this year. swarms of jellyfish mean the provincial government has issued a warning to locals to stay out of the water. This means the beachside road is packed with people.
It's not the old Ao Nang - has become developed (which is ok for the local economy). After the peace of Ko Lanta, it felt loud. We had screaming teenagers running around the hotel at gone midnight. Dependent in what you are looking for, choose carefully...
The kids club isn't really such - we wanted our son to go for two hours one day so my wife could use the spa and I could go to the gym. I was told to pick him up 40 mins after drop off. When I did he was in a corner watching old kids playing video games, the staff weren't engaging with them. Other people had used time-bounded painting activity, we didn't try that

It was just what I was looking for: a laid-back beach experience with great service and accessible amenities. The bed was super comfortable, the view was everything, and steps outside the door you could get amazing massages for 300 baht, which I took full advantage of. Breakfast in the morning had an array of choices. The staff was very accommodating and I would stay again.
