The place is amazing. Like a small castle. The rooms are nice, clean, comfortable, nice details, hallways are like a museum, pieces of history of the Maramureș region shown from ground level to the top floor.
Furniture inside the rooms is very interesting.
Clean all over the place.
The interior courtyard is great, a place to stay and have a drink, the museum goes on there as well, a great orchard behind the 'șura' where you can relax or barbeque.
The host is something else. Very open and relaxed, you can share stories, listen to stories, they can show you the history of the place, very kind and humble. We really recommend and for sure will book again. The lady of the house served us with tea and coffee in the morning just cause. What a nice stay we had, felt like home.

This was my loveliest stay in Romania and I only wish I could have stayed longer!!! Lucrezia and Gica are wonderful people and the stay in their lovely, quirky house was a true pleasure. I feel really privileged to have met them and hope we will meet again.
