Fabrizio went above and beyond to help us, sending lots of info, recommending places to go, collecting us at the airport and arranging a taxi for after the cruise. Apartment was in the heart of the old city, perfectly placed for walking around , getting to train station and cruise port. Spacious and comfortable and well priced. It was unusually hot when we visited but there were fans in every room and Fabrizio had also supplied 2 mobile aircon units which were very useful. Civitavecchia has plenty to do for a few days and is a nice, friendly place, it’s also super easy to visit Rome by local train from here ( about 1 hour journey and a snip at €4.60 for a single ticket per person).

Great location and there was everything we needed, although we didn't need much
Air conditioning was only available in one room. Check in could be streamlined a little bit further

Great location, host and accommodation. Lift was welcome for the luggage and it’s very cute. Close to everything with restaurants on the square below
Anyone with a disability would need to read the layout info and poor air con due to the age of the property needs to be considered in summer months
