Ideal for backpackers for a quick stop.

Breakfast was lovely and owner friendly. Free parking a bonus. Place was clean. Location ok if you don’t mind a 20 min walk. Swimming pool looked inviting although we didn’t use it.

Accommodation was small. Breakfast was taken in garden. One wonders where you would sit in wet weather as there is no room or even a table in the accommodation. Little room to open cases. No openable windows except a tiny window in bathroom. The free standing AC was necessary to use at night but very noisy. Tacky furniture made out of pallets, even the bed. Steps to accommodation were quite steep with no hand rail so not recommended for people with less mobility.

The room was basic but what we expected for the price we paid and the location was great.

It was extremely hot on the night of our stay and so we needed the fan as no air conditioning.

The worst experience we had in years, totally ruined our stay in Nimes.

Nothing. It was the worst experience we had in years!

Where to start from. First of all - arrival experience, just a day before arrival we've got an information that check-in time is from 5pm to 8pm. It's enough to say that standatd time is always 2-3pm, and moreover - I've specified preliminary arrival time when booking more than a week in advance. And when we arrived host actually said that it's basically our fault that we expected normal checkin time and since they live here and have to go to work we could've only arrived at this time, so it's our fault. Room was beyond small, our standard size suitcase just fitted in, blocking the way to the bathroom. It's clear that room size listed on the site is a lie. It's max 7-8 square meters, not 12! Bathroom is another story - it does not have a door, just a curtain - so you can imagine how romantic that is. Especially the smell and sound. Room without AC, it was actually made in a barn. Host was not pleasant, we had to explain we need 2 wine glass and a wiping cloth to actually clean dirty garden furniture. And we actually had to explain why we need, like we'd steal a table cloth! Wifi was not working in the room so we had to use mobile data. Price for the accommodation was not cheap to expect all the mentioned above, there were plenty of other options with the same budget and unfortunately we looked at the pictures and booked this terrible accommodation. Thank god we booked there only for a day!

Nice location while travelling by car offering private parking

Good location with free private parking. Walking distance to the old city of Nimes. Room with bathroom is located in the quest house with small patio. Owner very helpfull.

Everything was ok. Very basic... A room with a shower. But this is what we needed to stop in town.

Bed on wooden blocks. No WiFi. Curtain separating bed from toilet. Cold tiled floor. Not enough lighting for returning in the dark. Outside sitting area looked grubby. Basic room which with a little effort could be made cosy.

Lovely reasonably priced room with a great host.

This room was great value for money and is exactly as shown in on the website. The pool and the breakfast were great.It was a pleasant 15 minute walk to the city centre.

value for money, a nice change from a budget hotel and it’s got a pool

value for money, max 1-2 nights, safe parking (fenced off), nice pool, nice seating area outside, small basic room with small own bathroom, walking distance to Nimes old town (beautiful!! and plenty of restaurants) and close to the motorway- we used it as an overnight on our way to Spain

curtain between bathroom and bedroom makes going to the toilet a bit awkward… and it’s a very small room : 12m2 but for 1 night it was ok. we left most of our luggage in the car anyway

Stay here if you want to explore Nîmes for one or two days...

Excellent location in Nîmes. Very friendly reception. Nice little apartment for an overnight stay. Private and closed car park. A 15 minutes walking distance to the historic city center. Seating-accommodation next to the apartment to enjoy the summer evening outside.

Quiet little stay near to the center of Nimes

It has some great outside seating and it's very safe and tranquil. Just a 15-minute walk into the old town. Our room was small but great value for the money.

Simple, clean, private space, secure space for bikes,

Dorothee was welcoming. great set up - private space in her property, basic but everything you need. We were 2 bikepackers after 2 + weeks camping in hills …. this felt like luxury. We were able to put our bikes safely & securely outside the room, dry out all our gear, a real bed! shower, use of her pool if we needed it. a lovely Lebanese restaurant nearby. perfect. Thank you

The lady who met us was very nice. The room had a teapot.

The room we had is basically a garage that was redone for 2 rooms. There was no door between the room and the bathroom. It's incredibly awkward if you travel with someone. There was no bed in the room. Instead of the bed, there were pallets with the mattress. It was very uncomfortable to sleep on and also when you move it made a lot of noise (and I'm not overweight, just 47 kg). There were spider nets all over the ceiling. In the part that was for the shower as there was no ventilation made, the ceiling had a lot of molds growing. No hairdryer. At night it was incredibly hot, but there is neither AC nor a window to open. The only thing you can open is the door to your room. We found it highly overpriced.

A room of your own

Private outside terrasse. Quiet private place in separate building. I think that a young couple would be delighted. Nice host and breakfast.

Very uncomfortable with no door between bathroom and bedroom. Very small room, you had to go outside to have breakfast, only room for the bed inside.

Perfect for a short stay with a home welcome feel to it

Room was very clean and confortable, location was good and very secure, the parking facility very safe and the lady owner was very welcoming and helpful.

A door leading to the toilet would be better than a curtain... Would give a bit more privacy.

Not very comfortable and expensive for what you get.

The owner is nice, she speaks English and there is free parking space

No aircon so it was super hot in the room. The room is very small and has no toilet door. The shower has a curtain which is always a no for me. The bed is small and the mattress lacks quality and kept loosing its shape. Also the walls are super thin so you can hear literally everything happening in the room next door. All in all the lady is very nice but we didn’t enjoy our stay at all.

Superb

Dorothe is a really nice and friendly host! Speaks really good english. Nice questhouse with relaxing swimmingpool. Really nice dog. It is a quiet place, 20 min away from the city center.

There is no door between the bedroom and bathroom.

The bed is made with a mattress on some wooden structure so it’s not really good support, ok for a short stay. The room is a bit tinier than on photos, it’s more suitable for one person or kids. Will be nice to have a fridge

- Very friendly and helpful owner. - Very quiet as it is in a residential area. - Very comfortable bed. - Parking is on site of the property, which is secured by a gate so very safe for the car.

- The internet was a bit weak and only worked well when standing in the corner, closer to the main building. When sitting on the bed, the connection got lost every couple of minutes. - There was a strong smell in the room. - No restaurants near by in walking distance. So only recommend for people with a car. - Very small bathroom. It was very narrow when entering / exiting the shower.
