Super cute chalet in lovely private setting. Very well equipped. We only stayed one night and so wished that we had stayed longer. Our only complaint was the mattresses were not too comfortable. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Nice chalet. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect for our stay close to family. Kitchen well equipped. Coffee filters would be helpful but nice that coffee supplied. Also some instructions on using TV - what setting to use, how best to navigate apps. We lost the video and had to reset ROKU, which we were familiar with since we also use ROKU. The remote is a bit glitchy. Nice deck.

Small chalet house tucked away from main road. Quiet and peaceful. The house was fully stocked with everything you need. The owner, Theresa, was very responsive to any query we had throughout. The internet got knocked out by a bad storm and she and her husband worked for nearly two hours to sort it out for us. Since we were working remotely, it was a life saver for us (thank you!). Theresa even brought us fresh veggies from her garden! While mainly a ski town, there are plenty of state parks, hiking trails, swimming holes and stuff to do outdoors in the summer. We enjoyed our stay here. Thank you.

This property was newly renovated and clean. It was set back from the road and quiet. It was great for our group of 4. We spent the weekend there to attend a wedding and it was perfect for sleeping and having breakfast before heading out for the day.

Very nice visit

Very nice visit

We rented the chalet as a place to stay for a wedding in the area. It was a great place & wish we could have enjoyed the house & area a bit more. The only thing that would have made it better would be a real wood burning fireplace! All in all, a very peaceful place & would stay there again when in the area! Also, Theresa was very easy to work with and accomodating!

A Great Place to Reconnect

With only a few days until Memorial Day Weekend, my group of high school friends and I were boggled on where to travel for our yearly group trip. Most places were booked and the weather report was only becoming grimmer. It was only when we landed on Theresa's Chalet that hope rang the bell. The Chalet is located near some wonderful hikes which are bone-chillingly beautiful. Hamilton Falls was a real treat. The Chalet itself is cozy, clean, well equipped and the perfect place to call home for a few days. The field outside is beautiful and the surrounding area is fun to explore. The Chalet is wonderful, woodsy, and will personally be remembered with the utmost sincerity and fondness.

I stayed here by myself for a long weekend and it was exactly what I was looking for! The house is very close to the main road and is very close to gas stations, food shopping, and a craft beer store. It was about 20 minutes to bigger shopping areas and a lot of hiking and state parks are about a 10 minute drive. The house was clean and spacious and very quiet at the end of the road. There is a nice front porch with a beautiful view. The washer and dryer worked great and it was nice to have that. I would definitely stay again!

a very quaint home and a good deal for the price. The property manager was very attentive. My biggest criticism was I personally like firmer beds!

This house is adequate for a short stays and if your spending most of your time in the great outdoors. There are no heating vent in the bedrooms. There is one in the hallway. Not sure how this would work during the ski season. There was an unpleasant smell when we first walked in and we had to open all the windows a doors to air the place out for awhile. It's not far from the mountain road. We did not meet the owner face to face, but she seems lovely.

This house was very cozy and just a few minutes from the base of the mountain. There was a great coffee shop at the bottom of the hill that I stopped at every morning. The digital key lock was a little awkward and took a few tries to get the key out and then to replace it. We will hopefully return next year to the same house.

The cabin was located close enough to stores or restaurants to run in and get something to eat yet located in a quiet area. Our stay was peaceful and uneventful just what we were looking for. Furniture was comfortable and the cable worked fine. We would definitely consider staying here again. The owner communicated quickly to questions even while dealing with evacuation during hurricane Irma. That was impressive.

While in Vermont for a local family event, we stayed two nights in this rustic cottage. It was the perfect place for three couples--three bedrooms with double beds, roomy seating with a clean, cozy feel. We were there in the springtime, but I can see how it would be a reasonable ski hideaway within close proximity to Stratton and Bromley. The owner was very easy to work with--friendly and very responsive to any questions I had. I was impressed with the speed with which the security deposit was refunded. I highly recommend this property to anyone seeking an affordable Vermont country experience. Although it is "rustic", I'm giving it five stars because it totally met my expectations and worked well for us. We had a great stay in the Stratton area!

We got just what we were looking for, a tidy, comfy, warm little get-away for a ski weekend near Stratton. There was plenty of room in this little Mountain house and all the amenities were right at our fingertips. It was a gathering spot for 6 good old friends and perfect for our group.
