Situated in Cayuga Lake, this attractive cottage for $275 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Welcome to "Sunset Haven”! A 2 bedroom, 1 bath picturesque lakefront getaway located on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State. *THE SPACE: This 2 bedroom, 1 bath property can sleep up to 6 guests and has parking for 4 vehicles. It features upper and lower decks with panoramic views of the lake, a lower waterside patio area with a relaxing 6-person hot tub available for use year-round, a private dock with a large sun deck and a 7 ft waterslide,1 sling boat lift (2000lb max),1 cradle boat lift (4000lb max). Cast a line off the dock for some great fishing, float peacefully in an inflatable tube (we have 2 available for rental!), relax in the oversized hammock or enjoy a paddle around the lake in the 2 kayaks provided for use. Take a step inside of “Sunset Haven” to find an immaculately clean, fully furnished, and comfortable living space. A fully stocked kitchen with seating for 6 and a spectacular open living area featuring panoramic views of the lake will take your breath away as you enter. This area contains a SMART TV, a queen size sleeper sofa, a queen size futon, and a wood stove for use in colder months. This property is wheelchair friendly as the 4-ft sliding glass door leads into the open living space from the ground-level deck. Continue on to find a newly remodeled bathroom and 2 bedrooms with sleeping arrangements as follows: Bedroom 1: 1 King Size Bed, Dresser, TV Bedroom 2: 1 Queen Size Bed, 1 Single Bed with 1 Trundle Bed, Dresser, TV Pillows, sheets, towels, and other linens are provided for your convenience. Heating and air conditioning are provided throughout for comfort in all seasons. This property is equipped with cellular service, 100mbps+ high speed internet & Wi-Fi, and a SMART TV/DIRECTV. Strictly no smoking. Pets are allowed with an additional $200 pet fee which covers up to 2 pets. Please say yes to the pet option when making the reservation so you are charged correctly. Due to high demand, there is a strict no refund policy on any bookings that include a local event or holiday weekend. Situated on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake, less than a mile from NY Long Point State Park, this comfortable, fully furnished and equipped two-bedroom cottage can be yours to enjoy. Check in was easy! The owners called to make sure we got in and were good! The bottle of wine was a great way to introduce the local spots! They have a lot of information on local things to do! The wood stove was nice and warming in that main big open concept area ! Overall great place!👍👍

We enjoyed our week. The owners were easy to contact and quick to respond. The cabin was exactly as promised. We appreciated the added touches they made to make our stay easier- a full set of condiments, a bottle of local wine, lots of beach towels, paper towels and toilet paper, an array spices, etc. We loved being able to bring our two big dogs with us! The lake has more weeds than we would have liked, and the stairs into the water were very slippery, neither of which the owners could've helped. The slide was super fun, but I am 51, so I only tried it once! All in all, a great stay.

House was very bright and airy, extremely comfortable, with lots of thoughtful extras (tons of towels and blankets, pantry staples, bathroom staples, etc). Location is sublime, right on the lake, fabulous deck and docks and views even from inside the house. Owners were incredibly responsive and friendly, even finding my husband a pair of water shoes! (Bring water shoes - the lake is great for swimming and kayaking and playing, but the bottom is rocky with razor clams.)
Recommend going to supermarket en route as it is 15-20 minutes away (small market closer).

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset Haven! Owner was extremely accommodating and quick to respond to any questions or issues. Pictures were accurate and house felt clean upon arrivaln. Plenty of space to hang out on the deck and dock—also had great luck fishing from the dock!

The house was even better than the pictures. Large, spacious living area surrounded with windows and amazing views of the lake. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of local wine and provided a water jug and k cups for our use. The house is surrounded by an amazing deck with comfortable chairs and a nice grill. We loved the hottub and enjoyed listening to the waves while relaxing in it. The sunsets were gorgeous and we were blessed with 60-70 degree weather in November! We loved that aurora brewery, long point winery, Fargo bar and grill, long point state park were all very close to the home! Everything in the home was clean and worked well. We were very comfortable and relaxed! Thanks so much!

Our group of 5 had 3 March birthdays. It was a perfect excuse to plan a girl's weekend. The home was as beautiful in person as it was online. We loved the hot tub and appreciated the well stocked house. Everything from booking to check in and out was so simple. Would definitely stay again!

If you are thinking about renting this home, do it! We have done it twice and do not regret the 4.5 hour drive from our home. It is well worth the trip!
Recommendation: book a wine cruise with Bianconi Tours. Captain Matt is awesome! Check out Bright Leaf Winery and Aurora Brewing. Reserve a table at the 1833 Kitchen & Bar at the Aurora Inn. You wont be disappointed. Fargo Bar & Grill is great as well. Unfortunately, there are not many other spots to eat and COVID-19 continues to create staff shortages. Plan ahead and you will be just fine. Cheers!

Holy cow this home is gorgeous! The house sits on beautiful Cayuga Lake facing west with incredible sunsets! There is a gorgeous deck, amazing hot tube - and it's all super clean! We had a great time! Debbie and Paul are amazing hosts - Debbie stopped by to teach us how to work the hot tub! We would recommend this rental to anyone/everyone!

I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The location is great and the amenities are nice. The outside property, the yard, steps and hot tub area could use a sprucing up but the cabin is clean and updated. I think the service fees and cleaning fee is unfair because you are asked to clean the place including vacuuming upon your departure. I would stay here again if not for that.

The only downsides were that the house was so crowded with stuff (housewares, linens, etc) that there was no room for our stuff. Also the house was not as clean as we would have expected (there was chicken soup in the sink when we got there), and the beds were very soft.

We had such a great time! The mornings were peaceful and the afternoons were full of fishing, walks, kayaking and swimming. The home itself was in a great location - not too far down Honoco Road (which is over 3 miles!). Wrap around deck made it nice to enjoy Cayuga from any angle. Enough parking too! It was a wonderful stay and the hosts were great! Quick responses to any questions we had.
