About this cabin rental
Situated in Cayuga Lake, this lovely cabin for $320 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Enjoy the woods and the water in Cabin 8! Fall asleep to the rustle of leaves and spend your day swimming, boating or fishing. This large 2-story retreats boast 550 of living space and can accommodate 6 guests. Electric and manual boat lifts available for rent. Cabin 8 has a large master bedroom with a king bed on the second floor and a full bathroom with walk-in shower on the first floor. Additional bedroom on ground floor has two twin beds. Pull out couch in living room for extra guests. Comfortable seating area with TV for relaxing indoors, or gather around your outdoor fire pit to toast marshmallows. Includes a covered porch with seating area, as well as a picnic tables and space for outdoor entertaining. Cabin 8 is located on the hillside over the lake, and it is an approximately 3 minute walk down the driveway and the staircase to access the water. Guests with 4-wheel and all-wheel drive can use the boat ramp to drop off guests or boating gear via our boat ramp. 1 reserved parking space. (More available by request and availability.) Everyone staying at the property can enjoy our private beach, WiFi, and DirecTV. Stay cool on even the hottest days with air conditioning or cuddle up with our propane, electric heaters, or wood stoves. (Varies by site.) We provide all of the linens and bath towels you need for your stay, as well as paper products to get you started. Our kitchenettes include microwaves, gas stove tops, refrigerators/freezers, coffee makers, pots, pans, dishes and silverware. Pack-n-plays and high chairs available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Need more space? Our nearly 4 acre property with 400 feet of frontage along Cayuga Lake and a private beach also has the Spotted Sandpiper Lake House, the Overlook Lodge, 8 cabins and 2 yurts. Ask us about our discounted rates for multiple rentals! The Spotted Sandpiper is located in the woods with frontage on Cayuga Lake and bugs love the woods and water! They're savvy at finding their ways indoors (these are cabins after all). If the bugs are ever "bugging" you, we're always happy to help.

This rental location is one of many different rentals on the property making it fun to socialize with neighbors. Great location to wineries cidery’s creamery‘s and Ithaca. The owner was extremely responsive to any of my questions or any issues we were having, within minutes I had a response. I would definitely stay here again.

Would definitely stay here again. Cute little camp with different cabins, yurts and campers. We were a short walk from the lake. We used the paddle boards and kayaks and had a blast on the water. Pet friendly! Quiet location. Short drive to wineries.

It was a very nice place. It had everything you needed, shower, fridge, beds, firepit, kayaks + other fun swimming items. The lake was absolutely stunning and so peaceful. We were a bit caught off guard that there were a lot of other cabins around, we thought it was more remote, but it didn't seem to bother us at all. Everyone was super nice and everyone kept to themselves. We all pretty much did the same thing, explored the lake and land, then had a fire at night. It was really really nice. The inside of the cabin was stunning. Very well built with beautiful wood everywhere. The loft bed was very comfortable. My son is over 6 feet and did not like the downstairs bed so much, but he is a giant and needs a lot of space lol. Overall, I would 100% come back to this place. It was a very nice time and well worth the money.

Our family really enjoyed our stay in Cabin 8. The cabin itself had 4 beds, a small kitchen and bathroom with stand-up shower. It served our needs perfectly. The WiFi was very good. It's a short walk down to the beach on Cayuga Lake via a staircase where they had countless kayaks, paddle boards, rafts and life jackets. The beach was by far our family's favorite part. The views were amazing and the water was perfect. Check-In and Check-out was a breeze. We really hope to come back again! Thank you!

Great family spot
I can’t say enough about Jordan and his family who run this property. So accommodating. Treated us like family. Place was perfect for kids- swimming kayaking boating, enjoying the common area.
For adults, perfect location to hit local attractions. (Wineries, hikes, falls, etc)
Cabin #. 8 was clean, adorable and perfect for my family of 5.

It was like camping but with 7 other cabins onsite! Every cabin has a grill, picnic table, & fire pit! Lots of firewood available but buy starter wood that is dry! We put wood in the cabin overnight to dry for next day, but still need dry wood to start with! Love this place & cant wait to return!

I wish I brought my Jeep instead of my girlfriends Malibu as it was on a hill, but we got up there. Again, just minor things that didn't damper the overall satisfaction of my stay.
The owners even offered to let us stay longer, as nobody was expected after us that day. First class people all the way 👍

So if you are looking for an nice area to sit by the lake and dont want to climb steep steps and hills to get to and from cabin and lake, this is not the place for you.

The cabin was perfect for our family. Close enough to Cornell that we were easily able to attend all the graduation events and far enough away from the crowds and chaos of graduation.
