Located in Cayuga Lake, this charming house for $450 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Welcome to "Sunset Oasis”! A 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath picturesque lakefront getaway located on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State. *THE SPACE: This 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath property can sleep up to 6 guests and has parking for 4 vehicles. It features a large fully screened in porch, upper and lower decks with panoramic views of the lake, a relaxing 4-person hot tub available for use year-round, a private dock with a large sun deck, and1 vertical boat lift (max 3000lbs). Cast a line off the dock for some great fishing, float peacefully in an inflatable tube (we have 2 available for rental!), or enjoy a paddle around the lake in the 2 kayaks provided for use. Take a step inside of “Sunset Oasis” to find an immaculately clean, fully furnished, and comfortable living space. You'll walk through the fully screened porch to find an overstocked kitchen featuring a dishwasher and seating for 4-6, then a convenient half bath. Continue on to find a lovely living room area with desk space, a SMART TV, couches, a brand new queen size sleeper sofa, and views of the lake through 2 double glass doors. Walk up the stairs to find 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath, with sleeping arrangements as follows: Second Floor Bedroom 1: King Size Bed, Twin Size Bed, Dressers, Closet, TV Second Floor Bedroom 2: Queen Size Bed, Twin Size Bed, Dressers, Closet, TV Pillows, sheets, towels, and other linens are provided for your convenience. Heating and air conditioning are provided throughout for comfort in all seasons. This property is equipped with cellular service, 100mbps+ high speed internet & Wi-Fi, and a SMART TV/DIRECTV. Strictly no smoking. Pets are allowed with an additional $200 pet fee which covers up to 2 pets. Please say yes to the pet option when making the reservation so you are charged correctly. Due to high demand, there is a strict no refund policy on any bookings that include a local event or holiday weekend. Situated on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake, less than a mile from NY Long Point State Park, this comfortable, fully furnished and equipped two-bedroom cottage can be yours to enjoy. Sit back and enjoy your favorite beverage from the cozy living room, in the year-round 4-person hot tub on the large lower deck just a few feet from the water, under the remote controlled awning on the large upper deck, or at the firepit on the lower waterside area. *OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: The shoreline and lake floor is rocky/slippery. We recommend bringing/wearing water shoes for safety. Please note that the advertised nightly rate is based on a total of up to 4 guests. Enjoy the lake breeze and the sound of waves lapping against the dock. Fish off the end of the dock in one of the best fishing spots on the lake or enjoy a paddle around the lake in a kayak. This property was better than advertised. You can't feel the overhang ocean-liner view over water from the deck until you see it for yourself. The primary bedroom view is equally amazing - just higher up. The sometimes-unpredictable weather changes were fun - who would've thought one would see whitecaps on a lake?! The owners were most attentive and hosted well - we felt at home. Only 2 negative surprises, one of which was completely on us. We've never rented a home without a dishwasher and made the assumption, but it was not on the amenity list so that was a miss on our part. We def learned to cope - not a bad view stacking the dishes in the drying rack! The only other suggestion to the hosts would be attention to the big picture feel of cleanliness. The floors and bathroom and kitchen were great. I'm referring to the screens, window and door panels, and baseboards. Some of the drywall had a bit of wear and tear which is expected, especially when renting out a home, but I found myself distracted by the home's interior frames of the gorgeous outside views. A scrub and a fresh coat of paint on the sills, panes and baseboards would go along way. Thanks for listening.

This cottage on Cayuga Lake was absolutely amazing! To begin, the house is stocked with whatever you need in the kitchen and elsewhere! Don’t worry that you won’t have the right pan or dish…..it’s there. Towels galore, including beach towels were also plentiful! The house is well decorated and very clean. The beds were comfortable. The kayaks provided were terrific quality and life vests of every size were provided as well. The campfire pit was terrific with wood provided. Lastly, the view from the deck can’t be beat! Sunsets were gorgeous! We will be back! Wonderful weekend getaway for us! Thank you!

We wanted to spend a few days lakeside to unwind after a busy winter and this great location didn't disappoint! Our family of 4 and 2 dogs enjoyed this house right on the lake watching the ducks, loons and eagles enjoy the lake. The sunsets are absolutely stunning! There are a few quaint towns nearby, a State Park, National Wildlife bird sanctuary and of course, a brewery and winery right down the road. It was perfect for us to rejuvenate! The hosts made this trip extremely easy for us and we will definitely keep it in mind for future trips!

Great family vacation!
We stayed here for the week with our two teenagers. The house is right on the lake and we enjoyed kayaking and fishing. There is a hot tub for cooler nights, and a fully screened in porch to avoid the bugs. It was also close enough to Ithaca, that we took many trips to the local state parks. It was a great week on the lake!

The property was well located on a nice private road. Everyone was so friendly and it was a short trip to the Village of Aurora. Plenty of food options however we like to just bring groceries and take advantage of the property. The sunsets were amazing and the screened in porch saved the day. This time of years, the bugs and bees were out and about. We ate almost every meal out there. The water front was nice and usable for swimming. Many neighbors used theirs to fish. The house had everything we needed and more. We highly recommend this property.
