Nice apartment but BEWARE: noisy resident upstairs and leaky ceiling! We had to move out.
The apartment is very well equipped and has a good layout - space is very well used. Everything is new and the decor is of good taste. The balcony, while small, comes with a lovely glass door that helps brighten the space. The beds and pillows are comfortable. One of the best equipped rental apartment kitchens I’ve seen (but please buy coffee mugs!) We appreciated the cleaning supplies provided, including toilet paper, garbage bags, and laundry detergent. Appreciated the welcoming bottle of wine and treats (although would gladly pay a bit less rather than get these). Good storage for clothing in both bedrooms. Air conditioning and wifi work well. Claudia, who works for the rental agency, was efficient and helpful.
Unfortunately, out of the seven nights we rented this apartment we could only stay 4. Warning: the upstairs neighbour is extremely noisy during the night! The noises started at midnight and went on for hours. So, while the property is in a very quiet street, we found it very hard to fall asleep because of the noise from the unit directly above us. We suspect there was some construction work going on, as on the fourth night we woke up to a flooded kitchen, with water coming down from the ceiling (I guess that noise from above may have had something to do with the flood). This caused us huge inconvenience: not only did we not sleep well the first few nights, but we also had to pack all our suitcases and waste more than half of our vacation day moving into another place. While we understand that emergencies like these can happen, we could tell this wasn’t the first time they had a leak: there was a big stain in the kitchen ceiling close to where the current leak was. And there was a horrible stench of mold in the apartment that revealed a humidity-related issue. Unless the owner does something to address the issue of the noisy neighbour and the leaks, I am afraid that while there are so many plusses in relation to this property, there are also serious issues that can make one’s stay miserable (especially considering the rather high cost of rental). We expected som form of compensation because of all the inconvenience (especially the time lost - that day we had to cancel an excursion in order to be able to move our stuff to the new apartment).

Charming apartment and charming antibes.
Apartment is very spacious and clean. Comfy beds. Great shower. Great location. Cute balcony with lovely views over buildings. Very quiet, no traffic noise. Very fast wifi. Would highly recommend.
