Hôtel La Villa Sainte Valérie Adults Only

The staff were the highlight of our stay.

The bed could have been more comfortable.

When we first arrived and walked into reception, we were not sure about the Hotel. It seems almost too small and not modern enough and the pool seems too small. It has quite a small reception and internal seating area. It is two story's high, with all room garden facing, some with balcony. We had to wait to the afternoon for the room to be available so we sat by the pool, which was not busy and actually very nice. All the staff are really helpful and will to advise/assist with questions. However, our room was really nice, large, spacious, king bed, sofa and a really nice shower and bathroom. The room was white, immaculate, some quirky furniture, well decorated...just really really nice and somewhat unexpected. We had a balcony overlooking the garden and pool areas. We did a lot of morning outings to various towns and villages up and down the coast and it was a pleasure to come back to the hotel/room/pool for a late afternoon rest and dip/relaxation. The pool is not heated but with the hot weather this is very welcome. The hotel location is a 10mins walk or so into the town centre to the restaurants, bars and the beach. Unlike Nice's stony beaches and difficulty getting into and out off the water, the beaches along the coast North and South, are sandy and the water is cool, calm and very enjoyable. The weather from 30Aug-9Sept was very hot..at or above 30DEgC every day to late in the afternoon and it is very humid all day. Juan les Pins is small but with lots of restaurants and bars and extensive sandy beach areas. We much preferred it to Antibes town, which was nice but much busier and much built up around the port and fewer beach areas. The restaurants food is fairly similar, lost of pasta, pizza, fish and salads. We had 6 nights in Nice and then Juan les Pins for 5 nights and it easy to us ethe train to visit north and South along the coast and well worth the effort to do so...

This hotel was perfect! Everything was clean and comfortable, the gardens and pool were beautiful, and the breakfast was the best meal of the day everytime.

The location of the hotel is just perfect with the beach and many good restaurants nearby.

It would have been nice to have more selection at breakfast. And better coffee.
