We are a family of five and stayed in two interconnecting superior rooms on the first floor. We have stayed at this hotel many times and would stay again, but unfortunately, our rooms were extremely noisy. Every morning, we were woken at dawn by delivery trucks and bin lorries.
We understand that the rooms are not particularly large, but they are now in desperate need of refurbishment. The shower door was awkwardly positioned, and both my husband and I cut our legs on it. The toilet flush button was loose, and the headboard was badly stained, as were the sheets on my daughter’s bed. In the children’s room, the television was placed directly in front of the mirror, so it had to be moved onto the floor so that our teenage daughter could use the mirror. The televisions were also very old.
Housekeeping was not up to scratch either. We had to complain after dirty glasses and cups were left in the room and were neither removed nor replaced for several days. The bathrooms were also not cleaned properly.
That said, the restaurants were wonderful, with an excellent breakfast selection. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant by the beach, where we had several meals. We also loved the beach area and its beautiful setting.
