Nice place with excellent facilities. The games room with the pool table and huge TV screen and cinema style seating was a brilliant surprise find! Would've loved a dip in the hot tub too but we arrived quite late in the evening and got the strange feeling we'd already disturbed the proprietor with our presence so definitely didn't feel comfortable asking too many questions given I'd already mentioned issues with the room layout 🫣
Beds comfy, room TV as expected, nice and clean, and a good location.
Ambiguous Booking pics made the layout of the room hard to interpret. A two bedroom apartment however the sofabed, TV, and dining table are in the same room as one of the double beds. The other bedroom has a double and a sofa bed too but the lack of privacy and lack of a separate seating area meant this wouldn't have worked for us so we bought an additional apartment at a very good and reasonable rate.
This would've worked perfectly had something not seriously affected my stay. I've no idea if it was a dog or a child (or both?!) that thundered across the floor above me the entire night. Brutal sound of footsteps from the ceiling all night long. I'm not a light sleeper but I awoke to this sound countless times. The 10am checkout felt horrendously early and I left here feeling utterly exhausted.
On the plus side, my sons in the original booked room had a lovely peaceful sleep and really enjoyed their stay here. I think I was just unlucky.

Beautiful place with an extensive outdoor area, including a little swimming pond and a sauna. Could not ask for more.
We loved the "Nature Walk", the swimming pond, the sauna, the relaxed and helpful attitude of the staff and the barn look of the place.
