Hospitality is awesome most of the staff is a familiy member. The service mostly the food is delicious, you can simply order as you wish. My fishing experiennce is unforgettable happiness, beach is nearby. Most of all peace of mind

If you are looking for a no fuss place to stay the night in between a flight and a long bus ride like we did Villa Catalina Bora 2 is fantastic. Beautifully landscaped and planted with coconut trees and containing a working Bangus fish farm Catalina’s property is a few hundred meters off the provincial highway where you can easily catch a bus from the adjacent bus waiting stand.
The mattresses weren’t my favorite. Very firm. There isn’t great signage from the road and it’s easy to miss. Catalina could possibly put some signage leading guests from the road to the property. That would have made things a bit simpler to make the walk on our own . The WiFi password needs to be posted in the rooms to make it easier to hop on as the cell signal is low there. In my case I needed data access right away but it took a little longer to get. I’m only writing these ideas to help Catalina have an even more successful property. The rooms need to be dusted and cobwebs cleaned. Behind the tv and around light fixtures.

The place is excellent , staff is all nice and accomodating the beach is 3 mins walk. You can do fishing on their pond. Perfect for group and couple, You can even request for type of food you like to eat , cooling place. The wifi is strong, place is clean, cctv protected what an.amazing place. Definitley l will come back. Thank you

Quiet, safe location in own large compound. Proprietors really lovely which helped to compensate for there being effectively none of the features listed on the Booking.com website. A short way away is a local coarse sandy beach with local fishermen & friendly neighbours. A perfect place to relax. This is an undeveloped island so a good place to experience Philipino rural life & try the local market. Frequent taxi tricyles and minibuses along adjacent road.
Within reach of the ferry to Boracay where the beaches are world class with many restaurants.
I had the new room with very basic facilities and out of reach of wi-fi. Booking.com features list was mostly a fabrication. The fish farm I was expecting would provide a range of seafood was in early stages. Despite my disappointments I settled into the basic life and missed it when I left.
