I would not go back

The beach Is beautiful and probably the best looking in the vicinity. The staff Is lovely, helpful and well trained.

Quite overpriced considering what they offer and the season. The resort Is quite basic. At this price, any other resort would offer facilities like a gym, hair dryer, etc. They also charge a mandatory daily fee for the food. Even if you don't eat there. At check out there was a charge for a small bottle of water I asked for while waiting for the rom that was not ready, past the indicated check in time. That was the only charge buy they made me pay for It anyway. To drive out of the resort you are asked many questions, and have to leave your ID? The bathroom always smells like sewage. They have issues with water pressure and hot water. I'm not sure if all of this is considered normal for the area but It was unusual to a western traveller. Beach. It looks nice but if you are the person who takes long strolls, it is not possible. The shore is quite inclined and your ankles will hurt. There is nothing around the area for esxcursions.

Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and love it! We will not hesitate to recommend the place.

The shower pressure is too low, especially when having 5 people to use the shower, takes a long time to finished

Beautiful & Memorable...

Rooms were Excellent. Clean & Quiet. Facilities & Staff were very Polite & Attentive. Buffet Food Selection were Basic & Limited.... Been staying with them for over a Decade everytime I visit Laiya. I hope they can keep up their Great Facilities & Staff for years to come.... Salamat.

BathRoom needs upkeeping. Shower pressure was low & the Shower Drains were clogged and Water would not drain fast enough.... Water from the Shower also need proper Filtering because it left a stick feeling after we showered....

Pet friendly resort

The cottage we stayed in was clean and had comfortable beds. Food was great. Our stay at the resort was very relaxing. It is also pet friendly which is a big plus for me.

Gorgeous beach front! I personally loved the “casita” style accommodations! You step right onto the sand, right into the beach as soon as you walk out the door! I believe each casita is beach front view as well!

Would be more fun if the guests are able to cook and grill their own food! Also, would be nice to have a mini fridge to put water in.

Private feel with wonderful beach view

Our family booked bamboo and louvre casitas. All the cottages had a sea view, the beach was clean and private with white sand. The rooms were clean and the staff were accommodating and responsive.

Experienced a power outtage in the early morning and not sure if they have a generator because it took time for there to be lighting.

albeit fully booked, the hotel was quiet, tranquil, and relaxing. the staff were EXCEPTIONALLY KIND and ACCOMMODATING.

1. the room assigned to us had a VERY LARGE GARAPATA (TICK) crawing on the wall (will attach photo for reference). we also found a small tick on our dog the next morning (note: our dog has been tick-free prior to this trip). 2. the full onboard meals were also a bummer - it being mandatory (php 2,100 per person) and lacks variety (no fresh seafood).

Enjoyed the stay, but it could be better

- Real beachfront experience - Amazing location with beautiful scenery & landscaping - Quiet and secluded - Good food - Helpful staff - Calm water - good for kids - Sufficient number of beach cabanas for all guests

- Mandatory additional payment for full board meals (the food was food, but locks you away from experiencing any other venues nearby) - Beach bungalows are quite aged and basic - feels more like camping than glamping - A swimming pool & kids pool is missing - Nothing that the property can do about it, but the beach sand is quite “sharp” so my 16 months old baby was not able to walk around by herself, as it was painful to her feet - Not much to see when snorkeling by the property - No rules & proactive action by staff, e.g. some people bring a loudspeaker and play music all day at the beach and they are not notified that this “may” be inappropriate and disturb other guests

Food was decent. Driving distance from Manila. Beach.

Mandatory full board requirement that was not obvious (at least to me) when I was booking. For 2 nights / 3 days it was ~12,000PHP for 3 adults for the lunch and dinner. Breakfast time only from 7 to 9. We are on vacation, would like to sleep longer. We missed one breakfast. They didn't have milk on the first day and Coke on the second night and following day. No warm water in the shower. Room key was not able to enter keyhole.

they have the friendliest staff!!! everyone will greet with a smile. they will always make themselves available for whatever you need. thank you for making our holiday a good one!!!! the beach, as expected is amazing. i recommend the bamboo casita for a provincial life feels!

Staff was friendly and excellent customer service and accommodating

Expensive mandatory food buffet. I am a vegetarian and I didn't have much to eat throughout my stay and still had to pay mandatory food buffet. No amenities.
